WORST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM. Horrible horrible horrible horrible customer service and experience. I saw a car online and told them I can buy online. They told me I needed to fly from Florida to Georgia to buy it. I asked if I flew up there if they would save the car for me - they said they couldn't promise that they would save it. At 10pm the night before I spent $250 on a roundtrip plane ticket for Atlanta. I arrived as soon as they opened and purchased the car. This took about 5 hours even though all the terms had already been negotiated. Also I was purchasing an Encore GX, and they kept referencing the Encore and saying it would break down after two years. 1. You should know the difference between your cars - the Encore is built on an entirely different platform than the GX. 2. You shouldn't be bashing your cars just to sell more warranty coverage. Horrible practice - I didn't need to buy the car - if you told me it was garbage, I could have bought a different car. Kam sold me the car and said the tags and plates would be sent to my house in Florida. This happened January 30th, 2021. I sat in Florida for 6 weeks and received nothing. No tags (which I had paid for). No plates (which I had paid for). NO COMMUNICATION. I come to Georgia after waiting 6 weeks for the car and call and ask where everything is. They tell me I need a Georgia ID. That was never communicated to me. Apparently they hadn't even shipped the tags and plates to Florida. Twice at the DMV I was turned away because 'the system was down'. Not that anyone there looked like they knew how to use a computer. I called the dealership today and I was told that "I need to take responsibility here." THAT IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was told I would get the plates, and I didn't. That is money that has already left my bank account. I took financial responsibility, AND I called and followed up after 6 weeks of waiting. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CAR DEALERSHIP UNLESS YOU WANT 2 MONTHS OF ANXIETY AND CRYING. More

I was traveling to Florida when my car started to display red alert warnings. Luckly I was 1 exit from Southtowne Motors. I pulled into the service department and immediately Tim helped me nd assured me they red alert warnings. Luckly I was 1 exit from Southtowne Motors. I had to return to the service department to pick up the second key FOB for our vehicle purchased on 12-26-2020. Drove in from Alabama for our appointment. Was immediately waited on by Tim Jackson and he an second key FOB for our vehicle purchased on 12-26-2020. Drove in from Alabama for our appointment. Everything was completed and even a complimentary car wash included - before I could get settled or even finish a cup of coffee!! Absolutely the best car dealership service department experience I have ever had. Salesman Tyler Goodman operated "Above & Beyond" during our entire purchasing process - with him taking a phone call on his personal phone on Christmas night after 10:00 PM. We live in Alabama but SouthTowne is our dealership for life !! Do Not Purchase a new or used vehicle without checking with SouthTowne Motors - guarantee they will EARN your business!! Everyone was very professional and friendly. Was in and out with new car in 2 1/2 hours. Only comment I have was that I was not informed of maintenance agreement on a lease until I was in office for closi out with new car in 2 1/2 hours.
