Mike and Randi Zavislan I hope this finds you and someone who can help me feel like I did not get ripped off!!! Let me tell you how I was taken for $10,000 in cash and $2250+ in finance charges!!! someone who can help me feel like I did not get ripped off!!! Let me tell you how I was taken for $10,000 in cash and $2250+ in finance charges!!! Our experience at Southwest Motors was by far the worst ever! My mother visited me from California and she is a care giver. She was looking for a car she can use to drive her clients to and from their doctors, medical appointments and anywhere else she needs to take them and we were looking to spend $10,000 cash at most because we wanted to leave without a car payment. I was doing my research and came across a Mitsubishi Outlander with 60,000 miles on Southwest's website and a few other cars around our price range and On Jan 7th, 2026 we drove to Southwest Motors and that's when we ran into Ryan Quintana he asked us what we were there for and we told him we had $8,500-$9000 and we came to see the outlander and at that time we found out that the outlander was in their fix it lot across the street with the rear bumper off so clearly that car was out of the question so we told him what we wanted and looking for: *a newer car *Low mileage *Backup camera *Comfy seats *Bigger than a 4 door car *Not 3 rows *Not too tall that it makes it hard for her or clients to get in. *Not a KIA So he showed us a dodge journey and he reassured us that it was a good car and will last us a long time. So we went in to talk about the price. He came back with an offer from one of the managers saying they wanted nearly $11k+ for the Dodge so after some talking we decided on $10 grand cash. We noticed a few things my mom wanted to have fixed like a piece of a bumper pushed out and a crack on the drivers seat mechanism cover she would like fixed before we took the car and he said he will have them try to fix the parts he can't guarantee it but they will try while they detail the car and clean it up and that he can deliver the car later on. The next day Jan 8th, 2026 Ryan delivered the Dodge to my house right before the big snow fall that weekend. Friday Jan 9th we had a huge amount of snow so we parked her car and didn't move it that day and the car was covered with snow. On Saturday Jan 10th at night we started the car and a squeaky sound came from the car which sounded like a loose timing belt but we gave it the benefit of the doubt due to the negative degree weather at the time and we started our drive to California with the Dodge. During our trip we heard the heater core knocking a few times and as were getting into Arizona and the sun was coming up and the snow was pretty much almost melted off the top of the Dodge and that is when the car started to leak out of multiple locations including both the driver and passenger sun visors, the dome light fixture in the middle of the car, one of the little hanger clip, from the sides where the belts are attached and from all the way in the back. (Yes we do have videos and pictures from that day still.) Southwest was closed Sunday Jan 11th so I called them and left a message on the answering machine to have someone call me back on Monday. On Monday Jan 12th I didn't receive a call so in the middle of the day I called Southwest and they told me that I would need to bring the car back to Colorado so they can look at it. On Wednesday Jan 14th I returned back to Colorado from California with the car and went back to Southwest Motors with it and things did not get any better. After showing them the damage from the water and telling them my mother did not want the car anymore and just wants to switch it for a car actually worth $10,000. Ryan said "he cannot do anything about it and that I would not like the offer they would give me for a trade in value of the car" and I said "surprise me what is the trade in offer" and he said "$4000 all because I put 2,000 miles on the car and have had it for 5 or 6 days" which was the drive to California and back and then we got into an spat about how he knew that we were taking the More
