The salesperson appeared friendly and assured me of a seamless process. However, after signing the contract and preparing to take possession of the truck, my optimism quickly turned into dismay. To my shock, the dealership sold me a truck that required extensive repairs before it could even be driven on the road. They conveniently neglected to inform me of this critical issue, and only after insisting on immediate possession did I discover the truth. Selling a vehicle in such a deplorable state without disclosing the need for repairs is morally and ethically wrong. When I reached out to the sales manager, Jerome Howes, seeking accountability and expressing my frustration, his response was deeply concerning. He displayed a complete lack of concern and even mocked me for making a fuss over a car with just a mere four thousand dollar deposit. My calls and messages went unanswered, highlighting their lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. It is clear that Southwest Motors places little value on their customers once the sale is made. I must caution potential buyers about the dealership's so-called "month's warranty." This warranty is not a genuine gesture of generosity or commitment to quality. It is a tactic used to cover their tracks and mitigate the consequences of selling vehicles in extremely poor working condition. The process was quick, efficient and painless. They explained how all loan rates were currently high for financing, which I also appreciated them explaining as my prior loan was less apr.... He said he even tried the bank I was already financed through and it was a higher apr % than what they offered. I have one month to make sure the car is sound. As long as that month is good, this will be one of the better car buying experiences I've ever had. More
