Over the years, I have owned five Toyotas consecutively. Of these vehicles, three were purchased from Sparks Toyota, reflecting my continued trust in their dealership. My experiences with Sparks Toyota have consistently given me confidence in both their service and sales teams. The staff’s professionalism and dedication have made each visit positive. During our most recent purchase, Zach Preciado assisted us in selecting the 2026 Highlander. We specifically needed a vehicle with more space for passengers as well as pet crates. Zach was attentive to these requirements and ensured that the Highlander met our needs. Throughout the process, Zach remained responsive and worked diligently to ensure our satisfaction. His efforts and attention to detail contributed significantly to a successful buying experience. - LJ White More
Two years ago, we had our toyota sienna van towed this location for repair and diagnosis because our van would not start while we were on vacation. We towed it this location on a Saturday and left it at t location for repair and diagnosis because our van would not start while we were on vacation. We towed it this location on a Saturday and left it at this location and waited to the following week to get the diagnosis and cost of needed repairs. It was the end of our vacation and we had other family members take us back home to Virginia. The following week, we were advised from the service team that our van's motor was no good and would need very costly repairs. We were offered $800 for our van cash or trade-in. We did not accept the offer or trust the diagnosis made by their service team. We chose to travel from Virginia back to this location, which is a 8 to 10 hour drive. We used our truck and trailer to go to the location to retrieve the vehicle. Unfortunately, while on the trip, our Ford tuck diesel engine also went down. We were able to make it to this location to try to get the van but could not successfully get it. The vehicle would not roll onto our trailer, battery dead, gearshift would not engage to allow the vehicle to roll onto the trailer. Nobody at this dealership would attempt to help us and demanded we leave because the dealership was going to close and gates would be locked. It was a Saturday and we would have to wait until Monday to get the vehicle after we drove nearly 10 hours. After leaving the dealership, our truck engine went down just across the road from the dealership at a local McDonalds. We were blessed to get our truck towed to a family member's home nearby. We stayed with them until the next day and had to purchase a rental truck to pull the borrowed car trailer back to Virginia. It was a challenging time for our family. Summertime heat over 100 degrees. I also had my 82 year old dad with us, which added to the broke down concerns in 100 degree heat. I write this story only to advise you of scam that the service team tried to pull on us. After we paid to get our van towed back to Virginia to a local mechanic that we could trust, we were surprised to find out the diagnosis. The crank.sensor had been burned so badly that the van had to be rewired. Our mechanic advised that it likely was done on purpose by the service team so that we would be willing to sale our vehicle at a cheap price or choose to trade it in for only an $800 offer towards a new vehicle. Everything my family experienced with this nightmare could have been avoided if we were treated honesty. A simple crank sensor repair would have allowed us to get our van back home safely. However, instead we find ourselves broken down twice. Van is now repaired and running fine. Our truck will need a new engine, which will be costly. Would I trust this dealership? No Way! Professional? Are you kidding? Honest? I don't know, what do you think? My family that lives near this location knows the story and have advised others to be aware. I'm not usually one who posts bad reviews, but in this situation, I feel that is necessary to let us others know so that they will be aware and make wise choices. This whole situation could have been avoided simply if we got an honest diagnosis for our Toyota Sienna. More
I've been a long time loyal buyer of Toyota. I will not buy any further Toyotas as dealing with Sparks for the past 4 years has been a nightmare on more than one occasion. One hand does not hel I will not buy any further Toyotas as dealing with Sparks for the past 4 years has been a nightmare on more than one occasion. One hand does not help the other in their company. Forget getting quotes for work to be performed as advisors tell you to go to parts and get the price then come back and we will give you the service quote and this happened on two recent occasions. Since when did Toyota split the process and tell their customers they must hunt the parts and price down. it used to be you request a quote and they give it to you. Nope as they don't make their people work but they want us to spend 50-60K on a car? Service is important. Keeping your customers happy is important. Hiring a bunch young kids and making that a priority post over customer service is not what a business should be doing. Then you have an appointment for something that takes 15min (remote programming) and you're there an 1.5hrs like our time isn't as important. Sparks needs to get their house in order or Toyota should strip them of the right to sell their brand - all complaints will be forwarded to them. 30 years buying Toyotas and Sparks has destroyed that. Why buy a car from someone who truly doesn't care to keep their customer base happy and coming back. The buck doesn't stop at the sale and with horrible service, this will not keep people coming back. More
