I will never buy another car here. I have bought two Prius from Sparks. The purchasing process was efficient and easy, the sales rep that I've dealt with has always been courteous and e I have bought two Prius from Sparks. The purchasing process was efficient and easy, the sales rep that I've dealt with has always been courteous and efficient. My problem is with the service department. They are terrible! I have two recalls that I need doing on my car, when I called I was told that each one takes 3-4 hours, when I said so that will take 6 to 8 hours total? And was told that is correct if they can even finish it in one day. So I requested a loaner car, on them. This is service that is required because Toyota sold me a defective car, and want to fix it. Unbelievably I was told no, but they would drop me off at a local mall. Like I want to spend 8 hours at a mall? When pushed the service department changed their tune to these repairs would take only 4 hours. I still want a loaner car, 4 hours is a long time to wait at a mall or in a dealership. When I called another dealership, in Wilmington I was told 6-8 hours and that they would lend me a car. So Sparks is lying to me to try to get out of loaning me a car. I will NEVER buy another car from such a disreputable place. Great sales people, lying disrespectful service people. I would recommend a trip to a different dealership, unfortunately cars do have recalls, and Sparks is not the place to get service done. I don't want a liar working on something that my life depends on. More
Arlan Spoto was our salesman and was very courteous, knowledgible, honest and patient. He was able to answer all our questions regarding the SUV we eventually purchased. We spent a lot of time in the past 6 months shopping for 2 new vehicles (small SUV & mid-size sedan) to replace our transportation. Anthony Allen out performed every sales representative that we spoke to du 2 new vehicles (small SUV & mid-size sedan) to replace our transportation. Anthony Allen out performed every sales representative that we spoke to during these processes. He was extremely knowledgeable of his product, he was genuinely a nice person, and seemed to care that we purchased the right "mid-size" sedan, the Camry XLE. Perhaps, we would have purchased the Rav 4 if he had been the salesperson involved when we focused on the SUV - not sure. We ended up buying the new Forester. We think the price was good, the sales experience was great. We hope that service over the years will make the Camry a great decision overall. Bob and Margaret Bounds More
The Internet sales team was superior in every aspect. This was my first toyota & will probably always drive a toyota in the future because of the buying experience I had with Sparks. I wanted leather interior which they didn't have in the color car I wanted so it was installed to perfection just a few days after I bought the car. The salesman Chip Bull was fantastic in every detail of his job & William Jordan, the manager went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the sale & delivery of my Camry. These guys do the best job I have ever dealt with in sales. Keep up the good work!!! More
My wife and I went to Sparks Toyota as a first stop when looking to lease a new car. We had planned on looking at other Dealerships being new to the area, but we were treated like family as soon as we step looking to lease a new car. Our Sales Person, Jeff Laviolette answered every question and was very knowledgeable about the Camry's that we were looking at. Because of his professionalism, we decided to lease a Toyota Camry Hybrid that day. It's not often in this day and age that you can get the type of Customer Service we received that day. Jeff even got the exact car we wanted from another Dealership, and we picked it up a few days later. I would recommend not only the Dealership, but give accolades to Jeff for the way he handled everything throughout the entire Sales process. We truly appreciate the help provided, and will be sure to recommend them to all of our friends and family in the area. Thanks again for a job well done! Ken & Debbie Kitlas More

We originally went to Wilmington Hendricks Toyota because we bought a Rav 4 there in 2007. When we went online to Consumers Reports we received a coupon for over $2,000 from Sparks Toyota in Myrtle Beach wh we bought a Rav 4 there in 2007. When we went online to Consumers Reports we received a coupon for over $2,000 from Sparks Toyota in Myrtle Beach whereas the Wilmington dealership would only offer about $550. We decided to make an appointment with Sparks the next morning. The base price of the Ravs was comparable from both dealerships, but Sparks also offered a third year of complimentary maintenance over the usual 2 years. In fact I'm not sure if the maintenance in Wilmington was complimentary. Our Rav in 2007 required a Hendricks contract with money up front and we had to bring the car up to Wilmington for the maintenance. Hendricks of Wlmington may have changed this policy; we don't know for sure, but I doubt if they give the third year in a complimentary package. We also feel Sparks gave us a fair trade in value for our old car, a 1997 Civic. Last but not least, we found John McGuckin to be very agreeable, informative, pleasant and helpful. The entire process was much speedier than our previous experience in Wilmington, and Sparks accepted a personal check, which made the transaction very convenient. More
