Service department First time I came to this dealership I was bringing my truck in for the 20,000 mile service. The service tech comes out and tells me that there is corrosion on my battery terminals. They tell me that's not covered under the warranty. So I ask him if the battery goes out it's under service or at the terminal goes bad it's under service He says yes. So why would you not clean the terminals. The second time I came to this dealership I was due for my 25000 mile service. I called to schedule appointment and they wouldn't have nothing for seven days. When I finally got my truck in on my scheduled time for service it took them and 2 hours to give my truck and oil change I would never buy a vehicle here because you won't be able to get your car serviced right. You only buy your car for one day but you will be servicing your car for the rest of its life. More

I've tried other than Sparks in the area for service and been satisfied. However, at Sparks, even though the car has in excess of 223000 miles on it, I was given some good suggestions for future needs based on age (of the car that is) and the MPI (multi-poiint-inspection). Once again, for wheel alignment, to have it done right, go the real deal, i.e. Sparks or any Toyota dealer. I've been in the area for over 10 years and visited Sparks several times and been more than satisfied. More

And when they are finished with your car, they tell you everything that was done. So glad I found them when I moved to Myrtle Beach!! More

The service department has been wonderful!Everyone meets me with a big southern smile and greet customers as "family". They inform customers of what to expect , approximate time needed for service, escort customer to waiting room with huge TVs, free coffee & cookies, comfortable seating, spacious environment with lots of windows which allows customers opportunity to see everything that is going on around them& don't feel claustrophobic. Nice clean& spacious restrooms. Every employee is informed,accommodating , courteous. Matthew came in and sat beside me to discuss service, repair needs , and answered my questions on future need of tires, present status of treads, and conversed about comparisons I had researched with anticipation of future needs. He was very informed and respected my interest. Thanks to all Sparks' staff! More

I had a 1995 Four Runner that they serviced for years and it was as tight and responsive as a new car when I gifted it to a family member. The other Toyotas we currently own are serviced there as well and Sparks has our full confidence. Having lived in other (mid Atlantic) states with aggressive service departments that seek to maximize costs with unnecessary issues, it's refreshing to see this kind of frankness and honesty. This customer oriented attitude is also found in sales. Can't wait until they add Lexus to their line up but until then we will always be buying Toyotas. More

4 Service Visits Service Visit #1 – Take my Toyota Tundra XSP for an oil change and was recommended to change the front brake pads. I did so only to have the truck ret Service Visit #1 – Take my Toyota Tundra XSP for an oil change and was recommended to change the front brake pads. I did so only to have the truck returned with an awful squeal. Rice Toyota repaired the horrible installation Service Visit #2-3 - The Tundra was taken to Sparks for repair after an accident to the rear drive train. I visited the service department 7 days later and requested the location of the truck to be told it is in the front service area. I walked to the truck to find it sitting outside any parking area and in line with traffic. I also found the truck “UNLOCKED”. No excuses can justify this behavior. Visit #3 after the 45 days for repair of the drive train I had to return the truck to the service department because they forgot to attach the parking brake after repairing the drive train. No excuses can justify this behavior. Service Visit #4 – Brought the truck in for a recall notice that I received by mail. Sparks Service indicated that they would order the part and call me. A month or so later returned with the vehicle only to find they ordered the wrong part and would need to reschedule service. Two months later I have not received a follow-up. After some research on my part on the Toyota/Recall website - Toyota currently does not have a resolution for the airbag recall at this time. Customer Service at Sparks Toyota ????? More

The sales price was very enticing and the salesman Don Townsend and Chris Lang in finance made the experience very comfortable with no hassle. I traded in my 2002 Camry which ran great and would have outlasted me till death. However, because the deal was outstanding, I figured why not die in style riding my new Camry. Sounds morbid, but overall a great experience buying this car. More
