First time ever visiting the Spirit dealership. It was a very pleasant experience buying my car. We had a check engine light come on. The vehicle had been runnjng fine. Took it to Autozone to get it checked. They provided the code and we brought it to Spirit to get looked at. Spirit The vehicle had been runnjng fine. Took it to Autozone to get it checked. They provided the code and we brought it to Spirit to get looked at. Spirit plugged it in and got the same code. They decided we needed a new fuel pump and sensor at a cost of $1,725! We decided to take the vehicle for a second opinion. We had to pay $198 for Spirit's plug-in diagnosis, even though they didn't physically look for the issue. Brought it to a new shop that actually checked the fuel pressures and they discovered it was only the fuel sensor. $1,200 less than Spirit's repair for both the pump & sensor (minus the wasted $200 diagnosis fee). Terrible service. Nobody wants to be ripped off at the end of the day. Very disappointed. More
