Nothing but Problems...Don't buy a Subaru!!! We bought a new Crosstrek last month, after negotiating a price online. We thought the price was amazing, so we were ok with driving the hour to Orlan We bought a new Crosstrek last month, after negotiating a price online. We thought the price was amazing, so we were ok with driving the hour to Orlando. When we got there, the sales staff pointed out some cosmetic damage on the spoiler. This was a big let down, but we asked for remote start as a concession and they agreed. A week later, we brought the car in for the repair and remote start installation. It took over two weeks and when we finally took possession of the car, the steering console was damaged. We were very upset and they offered to swap cars. We took the offer, even though we had to pay another $300. TWO DAYS later, the car wouldn't start. This occurred at a family member's house. We asked the dealership to tow it in or send someone to drive it back, but were told a technician would swap out the remote start in our family member's driveway. The technician got the car started and disabled the remote start, but when we picked up the car the following day, the car made a grinding noise when it was started. The same or a similar noise occurred during other cold starts. We brought the car back to the dealership two days ago and were told they could not replicate the noise. We've asked for a refund and were told "that's not an option" by Sport Subaru and asked Subaru America. Subaru America was not helpful, denying a refund and offering a month of financing. We took this as a sign they weren't taking our case seriously, since we told them early on that we paid cash for the car. Offering a month of financing clearly isn't an option. We are currently in a car we can't trust or feel safe in, out our money for the remote start concession and feel like no one really tried to help. We were reluctant to put negative reviews anywhere, the sales staff was super nice and we held on to hope that something would happen. However, if this is how they treat their paying customers everyone needs to be aware of our horrible experience before buying. More

She had to ask someone in the service dept. to find out it was just the little button on the dash needed to be pushed. She should have known that .However in her defense. Guy was very adaptable - he was willing to use the pen/paper method to facilitate communication access. A necessity on my side. He was awesome about it.
