I both love and hate leasing a new car. I like getting a good deal, and I like shiny new things, but I really, really do not enjoy the haggling process -- ESPECIALLY when I know the math behind leasing and good deal, and I like shiny new things, but I really, really do not enjoy the haggling process -- ESPECIALLY when I know the math behind leasing and can tell when a dealership is on the up-and-up or (more than likely) trying to stab me in the eye with a rusty icepick. My local dealer gave me a "pretty good' deal on a 2020 MDX but I knew there was room for maneuvering. I vetted this deal with another (less reputable) Acura dealer and was told that in no uncertain terms that I was absolutely reading the deal wrong and their MORE EXPENSIVE deal was better (hint: the deal was not, in fact, better). In the meantime, Jeremiah from Spreen Acura gave me a competitive - if not immediately compelling deal on the same car. Before I could formulate a counter-offer, manager Ryan called, made it clear he wanted to give me a no-xx deal, and verbally offered a *fantastic* price. I had to triple check with him because it was literally right at my target for what I felt would be the best I could get without making someone cry in the process. I drove to BFE---err, sorry, Riverside-- the next day and met with Chris who showed me the car and brought me in to see Daniel in financing. Total time: 10 minutes. I'm usually at the dealer a full hour for some nonsense at this point. I was mildly suspish. Daniel had forms ready and I was signing (well-explained) papers right as I sat down. I re-read the lease agreement four times because it was (1) exactly to the penny as I was quoted over the phone, which just doesn't happen and (2) being in the Complicated Paperwork Industry myself I don't trust anyone ever. I signed the lease, Daniel folded it nicely into an envelope, and said "here you go, all done. Chris will have your car ready out front." What the WHAT? I was in there like -- I dunno -- 20 minutes tops. No way a lease was handled tip to tail in that short of a time. Where was the waiting in the lobby for an undetermined amount of time for mysterious reasons? Where was THAT GUY who tries to sell me Clearcoat and the Extended Warranty and the Dealer Installed Automatic Fish Repellent other superfluous nonsense? (Spoiler -- apparently Daniel is "that guy" but he doesn't do "those things" because this isn't "that kind" of dealership!) I had keys in hand and TOTAL TIME spent at the dealer was under an hour. I still can't believe it. Also I got, objectively, a fantastic deal without having to pretend I'm a Level 22 Bard/Thief with 18 charisma. A+++ would lease shiny japanese metal thing again More

The Service Department is hands down top notch. Matt Ropers was my contact. I initially contacted the Service Department over the phone as my vehicle wouldn’t start. Once the technicians determined the problem, Matt contacted me to advise of the problem and how long it would take to fix. Due to the current pandemic, I have been working from home. Acura arranged to have it delivered to my residence. It was fantastic! This is another reason why I love Acura and the Service Department! Bobby is the only remaining employee who has been working at the Riverside location. He deserves 5 stars! Thank you! Keep up the great work! More
