He was definitely interested in making sure I had a car that met my needs and did not push me to a car with add-ons that I would never use. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the car. John was very helpful in dealing with the financial aspect of the purchase, making sure I left with a vehicle I could afford. I was actually looking to purchase 3 cars but only one of them was intended to be a Honda. The experience was so respectful and professional that I have decided to purchase 2 additional Honda's instead of looking elsewhere. I also want to clarify that I went to several Honda dealerships before visiting Spreen. The sales person at the first dealership walked away from me and told me to come back when I was serious about buying. Apparently my old t-shirt and jeans or perhaps being a woman told him that I could not buy. The second salesperson handed me off to someone else who said I couldn't look inside one of the cars because he didn't have the keys on him. A second dealership said that each car came standard with $10,000 in add-ons and that I was welcome to shop somewhere else. I texted him a question about the vehicle that I actually decided to buy and he told me to contact him when I was ready to start loan documents. Apparently, women shouldn't ask questions. At Spreen, no one seemed to notice that I was shopping in a t-shirt and jeans or that I was a woman. They just treated my like a human being. I'm certain that if the other dealerships new that I could afford to buy three cars the treatment would have been much different, but I certainly appreciate that I didn't have to sell myself to someone at Spreen so that they would be willing to sell me a car. Replacing a defective part. My 2018 Honda Civic EX had a defective electronic part. It took about a week and a half to get the part. I gave five stars because I don't blame the service department for the delay or defective part because this was a rare occurrence. The technician did a great job and my Honda runs perfect. More
