Internet Dept. Bait and Switch. Totally Dishonest Last year I bought a 2017 CRV from Long Beach Honda. While doing Internet shopping for the vehicle, I had the opportunity to talk with their Mgr.(don' Last year I bought a 2017 CRV from Long Beach Honda. While doing Internet shopping for the vehicle, I had the opportunity to talk with their Mgr.(don't remember her name). I was very impressed when she said she couldn't match the deal I had from LGB Honda and that another dealer on my list was deceptive and dishonest. Fast Forward to this year. I contacted several dealerships again to buy a 2018 CRV EX-L. No need for test drive, salesman time, financing(I qualify for lowest everywhere). I received approx 8 replies from Spreen. Armida, Cecillia, Colleen. I narrowed down my choices and asked for a "Out the Door" price. 5 other dealers had no problem giving me what I asked. I had said I was going to play one against another and that I'd make my decision. The night before I was going to buy the car, I called Spreen and they said they were working up a number and to come down and look at the vehicle. My son went down and like a certain one and they said they'd hold it for 24hrs. Next am I called and asked for the price on the vehicle on hold.. Armida said I can't give you the out the door price, but they "Really want to move the cars". I was sent a quote and bit and went to Spreen. We were met by a floor salesperson, who brought out a sales proposal. $10,000 more than what I was given a written quote on. Now comes the "Oh let me talk to my manager crap". Back comes back another quote and I say NO,$30,000 out the door or I'm gone. So they bring back a quote on a different vehicle. xxxx NO. Next out comes Dustin?. This vehicle has all these dealer add ons and I can't eat that much. I showed 2 written quotes from 2 different dealers, one the salesgirl said, "Oh he used to work here'. Now I know why he left! Totally Dishonest, Liars, Unproffesional bunch of clowns. Drove to Long Beach Honda and bought 2nd vehicle from them in 2 years.Spreen is a JOKE. More

Salesperson & sales managers try to rip-off first time buyers. GO TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP! Contacted Natalie again, Internet Sales, and she stated she would get back with me with an explanation for the price increase...no response. Don't waste your time with this place... corruption throughout. More

After some emails, texts, and phone negotiations where we agreed on an out the door price and that I was paying cash, I go to pick up the car and they said No. I showed the email and the best price certificate and they said it was only for people who finance through Honda fincnacial despite us clearly having stated in negotiations that I was paying cash and hand which is why I didn’t qualify for the additional Honda financial discounts. To top it off, when I asked to speak to a manager he refused to come out to the floor and when I left I saw the guy laughing inside the office( surrounded by glass windows and at the front of the building where I parked so I had a nice view as I left) More
Don't Waste Your Time Dealership is an absolute joke. I received a "Best Price Certificate" for $18, 588. I go to the dealership and they slapped on $6800 worth of crap. Really? $3300 for a warranty? The $6800 was approximately a 37% price increase. They failed to honor their worthless "Best Price" because of ridiculous and worthless "add-ons". Avoid this dealership like romaine lettuce! More

You will more than likely receive an email or “VIP price quote” from Ana or Taelor that will be a ridiculously low quote on the car to get you in the door. It’s an offer you just can’t refuse right? Well, that's where the fun starts. You won’t deal with them and are treated like you walked in off the street. They butter you up with compliments, take you on a test drive, run your credit, only then to drop the news....that all cars on the lot come with a mandatory $1495 protection package and $1895 alarm upgrade! Lo and behold, your low quote sky rockets and it's not a great deal at all. Trust me on this, do your research on Spreen Honda before going and if you are OK with their sales tactics, then go for it. Just a warning however, these tactics are well documented online! This is a true and honest account of my experience. Buy at your own risk! Also, it’s quite amusing to see the generic “response from the owner” message regardless of a positive or negative review. No response to attempt to fix things! Buffoonery. More

About 40 minutes later we started to wonder that it was taking too long for him to come back so we decide to walk towards the lobby, turns out he ended up going to go with another customer without telling us anything. After asking him what happened he just said he couldn’t do anything and gave us our license back. If he knew he couldn’t do anything he should’ve just told us right away instead of just disappearing. Why can't they be honest when you ask for a price on a car...then they want you to drive across the county to their dealership, to get the real price, as the quoted price is not the real price..>WHAT????. Why do they have to lie and hide the price of the car??? Finally after pressing the girl in internet sales...she says to me...well add 10-12 % more for the real price Just send a quote that is true and not made up...what in the world is 10-12% depending on what you look like? or what kind of car you drive in? Size you up to see how much more they can charge you??? Excuse me the price is the price.....All this does is make HONDA look like a bunch of lying xxxxxxxx...too bad because I was really looking forward to buying a new CRV Touring edition from them...but no more...Now started looking for at other makes & models. This is Fraud, plan and simple...I'll be posting in a number of places about my experiences with several dealers including Robertson Honda of Palmdale and Spreen Honda in Loma Linda CA. . Someone needs to be do a class action lawsuit about the fraud & deception being perpetrated by Honda...and don't believe that Honda Corp doesn't have any control over the independently owned dealers...any franchise should have a set of rules...you know ETHICAL RULES to follow. Now the dealers reading this might have to look that word up, ETHICAL!! ...just google it, and try and understand what it means, because the dealers I have dealt with have no knowledge of the the word. 😡 More

We went yesterday to Spreen Honda (me and my wife) with the intention of purchasing a Civic 2018, a young sales girl that I don’t even remember her na We went yesterday to Spreen Honda (me and my wife) with the intention of purchasing a Civic 2018, a young sales girl that I don’t even remember her name, I am pretty sure she knows who I am, first thing she ask me was how much I was planning to put as a down payment! without even offer us to do a test drive, we went into the office she requested to run my credit and to sign the authorization to do that, she returned with a paper where I was already calculated how much my monthly payments were going to be, to my surprise this paper didn’t have the interest rate! My wife ask her how this calculation has been done without the interest rate? Manager came to talk to us…and he disrespect my wife by telling her “you have a problem because you don’t understand you don’t know”…sorry we are not Wealthy people to accept your terms and we were not willing to tolerate being deceived. I would spend hours going back and forth with the sales man and the finance people. When i left Moss Brothers with my new car I felt stressed out and over it!!! The thought of having to buy another car again was giving me the worst anxiety. My cousin told me to try Spreen Honda she bought her Accord there a few moths back and loves her car and had a great experience. When i walked into the dealership i was not greeted by pushy sales people but by friendly kind people. Patrick was the sales man that helped he out. He was amazing!!! I told him what I was looking for he knew exactly where that car was on the lot. We test drove and I loved it. Patrick was very inforatmave about the vehicle. He showed me how everything worked and explained all the benefits of Hondas roadside assistance program that came with the vehicle. Patrick told me that he had the same Accord and he loves his. He didn’t try and up sell me on anything i didn’t need. I felt like he was more of a friend than a sales man. Jared did my loan. He was just as amazing! Quick and no BS. He was defently experanced in finance. I was in and out of the dealership in 2 1/2 hours with my new 2018 Honda Accord!! Spreen Honda has a new coustomer for life! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. Also i would also recommend Jared for financing and Patrick for sales they make a great team!! More
