HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! BAIT & SWITCH TACTICS!! STAY AWAY!!! Came in to look at a couple of cars that were advertised their web site. We choose one and sat down to write up the purchase offer. The manager came back with asking for added features such as; extra warranty, extended service, security alarm (which is a standard feature) and interior and exterior protection. We said no to each that we came in to purchase the vehicle as-is. The manager came back stating the features are already on the car and gave us a reduced rate. We were not informed that the price on the internet was not the real price and they wanted an extra $800 for the protection and security alarm (which is standard for the car). The manager said since the items were already on the car he would have to "ACID WASH" the clear coat off the exterior. Who does this? It became a joke and an insult and I called the manager out as this was a bait and switch tactic. We wanted nothing to do with this business and walked out. While driving home my wife was looking at yelp reviews and most have the same experience. I would stay away fro Spreen Honda, Spreen Mazda and anything owned by Spreen. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE, THERE TACTICS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!! More

Do I have to Give 1 Star This place is an absolute JOKE! They send you an internet quote which is comparable to other dealerships but once you step foot on their property OMG! The team at Spreen are a bunch of Lying, Strong-Arming, Manipulating Punks. I cannot believe their sales tactics. I guess when you think something is too good to be true, it probably is. We received a quote for a vehicle without additional dealer installed equipment. We worked out the deal over the phone to pay for their ridiculously priced wheel locks at $125 when you can buy them direct from their parts department for $36.67. Once we were onsite, the vehicle did not have wheel locks. However, they wanted to force me to pay for them because that was the deal over the phone. When I refused, they lied and tried to tell me that the wheel locks were specific to the Vin# on the vehicle. Well that is a heap of crap considered wheel locks are universal. Anyhow, I walked away from purchasing 2 vehicles for their immoral antics. I went right over to MOSS in Moreno Valley and they honored the quote provided by Spreen and didn't even charge me for the wheel locks that were actually on the car. Much better experience at another dealership. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT SPREEN! More

I was getting equally good or slightly better deals elsewhere, but I still decided to buy the car from them only because I had visited the showroom thrice in the last two months. If you can send so many promotional mails every single day, I am sure you can show some courtesy and inform the customers that the car has been sold. More

Wish I could give less than one star Wasted 3-hrs of my day at Spreen Honda of Loma Linda. Every part of the pre-deal process was handled in a shroud of mystery and stupidity. Had to send them back 3 times to evaluate my trade before they even got in the ballpark of its value. Amazing how the value of your trade goes up $4k when you explain over and over what they are looking at. The decision makers hide in a room in awe of themselves and deal with you indirectly via their minion sales team. After their numbers no longer made sense I finally asked to see all the details of the deal in writing and found over $6k of dealer installed premiums not mentioned the whole time we were negotiating. Ended up at another dealer about 40 miles away because they had the vehicle I was looking for and made my purchase there. When I explained to them the deal I had just walked away from they asked me if I was at Spreen. I’m amazed at how they would they know; I could have been coming from anywhere and from any direction. I asked them if they got a lot of buyers from Spreen; they declined to say because they didn’t want to talk bad about another dealership. Any self-respecting buyer should go elsewhere and avoid Spreen. More
