Bad Customer service Beware of this Dealership!!! Only one star because you can't put zero. My wife and I purchased a 2016 Honda Accord sport. They have Continental Cont Beware of this Dealership!!! Only one star because you can't put zero. My wife and I purchased a 2016 Honda Accord sport. They have Continental Contipro tires that have weak sidewalls. After purchasing 2 tires at 300 hundred a piece and then developing a bubble in the side wall in a third I decided to take a closer look in to these tires. After doing some research I found that these tires are notorious for bulges in the side wall. Seems the sides wall are weak and driving in normal conditions is a hazard with these specific tires. These are supplied on new accord sports and certain civic models that I have noticed. I took the car in to Spreen Honda after forking out $600 for the first two tires, in hopes that there was something they could help with since the purchase was recent. To my surprise they were not helpful in the least. To recommended I'd go to a tire shop where they sold these tires and gave me a specific shop to go to. So reluctantly I went and when I arrived the shop manager had informed me that over the last four months he has seen at the very least 40 of the same vehicles with the same issue. To top it off one of the persons that works in the service drive at Spreen Honda stated that they have seen a number of them in the past few weeks. I returned to the dealership and explained the cost and the issues with the tire and that the place they sent me to had told me to tell Spreen to stop sending people to them. Spreen did offer to give them to me at cost, but it was basically the same amount I paid outside of the dealership. I asked to speak to the GM And was told he said he was unavailable to speak with me. When I ask why I was told he was at lunch. When I stated I would wait for him the service guy then said he was in a meeting with the owners. I asked if he could call and find out when he would be back so I could speak with him, he said " The GM said he is unavailable to speak with you". This is how loyal customers are treated. It was obvious that the GM John Awaboy wanted nothing to do with this. They would rather let their customers drive around with tires that they know 100% have issues that could result in the safety of their customers and their families. You should think twice from purchasing from this Dealership. More
Not the best I've had. Bottom line. They use bully tactics when it comes to "deals" and trade ins. I was there 4hrs...until 930pm. Car had to be delivered to my house at Bottom line. They said it had everything I wanted, including a vacuum. I signed, car was delivered, no vacuum. They blame myself and other Dealership for this issue. Haven't heard any response from them since last email which is attached below. I want to thank you for doing business with us, however, I understand your frustrations. I reviewed all emails exchanged previous to your transaction, I do see that you had brought it up a few times in regards to the Vacuum, however, I also noticed it was neither confirmed or denied. I apologize that you were not given the proper Product Knowledge that should have accompained your questions and will be addressed to my staff. As for the Security System, it was the other Dealerships security system and they failed to transport the vehicle to us properly so that it wouldn't have that issue. I apologize for this inconvenience, if it was a vehicle that came from our inventory none of this would have been an issue. I can understand your frustration in that regards, we took care of it as soon as we could. The "now or never" scenario, it's unfortunate that it came off as pressuring, but the reason it was that scenario is we had a dealership willing to give it to us...that vehicle or decision may of very well not of been available the next morning. We did what we needed to in order to get you the exact color combination of the vehicle you choose, we structured the deal off of the Touring seeing as that had been the vehicle you decided on. Nevertheless, I hope you are enjoying your vehicle and if there is something I can do please let me know More
Go elsewhere if you want a good experience. The email you will receive from their internet sales team will say: "Many dealerships will give you a very low unrealistic price, only for them to inc The email you will receive from their internet sales team will say: "Many dealerships will give you a very low unrealistic price, only for them to increase it later on! We do not play games at Spreen Honda." Unfortunately, that is exactly what Spreen Honda does, they quote you an unrealistic low price, and then they play games with you when you come in. I wanted so much to have that "no games" experience as I HATE haggling, I just want a fair quoted price. They add an $1,800 "security package" and $1,400 "appearance protection package" too all of their cars on the lot. This is what was told to me by one of the sales managers named John. These are used as leverage to make up their low ball offer they get you in the door with (if you go through TrueCar, costco, USAA, etc.) The security package is a $30 shock sensor added to the factory alarm and it "comes with" theft protection insurance, if your car is stolen and deemed a total loss they'll pay you the difference of your insurance payout up to MRSP of a new vehicle. So basically they are making you purchase *absurdly* marked up insurance by adding a $30 piece to the vehicle that they will tell you they cannot or will not remove ("It is already on the vehicle sir"). The appearance protection package is the same story, armor all leather protectant (or scotch guard spray on fabric), and a wax on your paint, and you guessed it, it "comes with" a service that will get out any stain inside, or remove any blemished outside (caused by normal use). The product is "already added to the vehicle, and no sir we cannot and will not take it off." I'm sad to say that "it is already added to the vehicle" for the protection package was a lie in my experience. After I purchased the car they had put the greasy armor all, all over the interior of the vehicle. They told me that they "re-apply" it at purchase, but I had just test drove the same exact car the day before, it had not been on the lot more than a week according to the sales manager, and it did NOT have any armor all product applied to it. Along the entire process I kept asking for these items to be removed stating I did not want them. They discounted them, slightly, and I finally caved (and I feel very ashamed for doing so). Lastly, if you come in from TrueCar, USAA, or Costco, you can forget dealing with a non-pressure internet sales or fleet manager, they will funnel you in through their normal pushy sales channel just as if you had walked in the front door. The front sales personnel are not aware of any conversations or quotes you will receive before you get there. Don't make the mistake like I did and purchase unnecessary items you don't even want, my previous car had been totaled and I needed it replaced asap, but I should have just paid for a rental and gone to a different dealer. Save yourself some stress, PLEASE, and do not go to spreen. More
