Waste of time and gas due to unfulfilled appointment Water was coming into the car from a rainstorm. Didn't want to wait that long given the problem at hand but it's no ones fault if they're too busy and I'm too busy. Made the appointment for Saturday 8:30 AM. Saturday comes around, I bring the car in, and they say sorry, they can't service the car because there's no water technician to do the job. Complete waste of time and gas as they said I had to reschedule the appointment. If you want to waste your time with a dealership that wastes your time by not honoring its appointments, this place is for you! More
Uncooperative Service Dept for long time customer My 2015 RDX would not start. I went online and searched what the problem was and it looked like the battery so I had a relative with a car battery ch My 2015 RDX would not start. I went online and searched what the problem was and it looked like the battery so I had a relative with a car battery charger give it a charge for a bit and it started. The battery was under warrant so I called Springfield Acura to take it in and get a new battery. It was before noon and I was told they could not help me today, I'd have to come tomorrow which meant I'd have to miss work. I told them I could not do that and I wasn't sure if it would even start again so I needed to get it looked at immediately. I was very rudely told they could not help me. They had looked up my service records and knew this was the 2nd car I've purchased there and serviced there. I called Brunswick Acura who, without even checking to see if I had ever serviced there, told me to get there whenever I could and they'd take a look at it. They took me right away and were shocked to find out that I had been to Springfield Acura twice since a recall and they had never fixed it. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle or service at Springfield again. More

Jake Tuchman has been extremely helpful on both of my visits to Springfield Acura. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He definitely goes all out to do whatever it takes to help you. TOP NOTCH SERVICE, HAD A SAFETY RECALL AND WAS AMAZED I had to bring in my Acura TL S-Series for a safety recall and was met by a manager by the name of Lori who was a consummate professional. She had gone over everything in detail as soon as I walked into the establishment. The friend of mine with whom I bought the car from had left it on my property because he could no longer afford to insure it so the battery had died and the stereo system needed to be reset but you need to take it out of the dashboard just to get the code. I've had money problems as of late due to the fact that my mother is being forced into retirement, so it is my brother and my duty to take care of her like she's taken care of us. Lori had informed me that it would cost over a hundred dollars to remedy the situation and I had to think it over. I finally agreed to have the work done and she provided me with a brand new Acura IXL to take care of some work related issues and when I came back and went to pay the bill she had waived the fee. I was so elated that I had my stereo system working that I wanted to give her a hug but she settled for a handshake instead. I'm so AMAZED THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY WHO ARE WILLING TO HELP OTHERS ALTRUISTICALLY. THANK YOU SPRINGFIELD ACURA, AND OF COURSE LORI FOR THE TOP NOTCH SERVICE. More
Top of the Line Service, done with Integrity. I took an older model (2003) MDX w/ 125k miles on it to Springfield Acura after seeing engine light codes that indicated a likely need for a valve adj I took an older model (2003) MDX w/ 125k miles on it to Springfield Acura after seeing engine light codes that indicated a likely need for a valve adjustment. I compared some reviews and ended up calling Springfiled Acura and Joe was very helpful. We agreed on an estimate for the valve job and he helped in getting me into the service schedule the next day (a Saturday). I dropped the MDX off at their valet/drop off area and was given the keys to acourtesy loner vehicle, a 2014 MDX, which I have to say, was a sweet ride. They sure have made a lot of improvements in 10 or so years. Anyway, Joe told me I was assigned to senior service consultant, Jaime (pronounced Jay-mee). Jaime called to check in with me before doing the job and then later to discuss some additional repairs/maintenance that the technicians were concerned about. They noticed my older water pump and asked if my timing belt had ever been changed as this was recommended if I hadn't done it yet. I knew from researching online that the timing belt was something important to change on this vehicle after 100K+ miles or it could put your engine at risk. In addition, the spark plugs were old in need of replacement. I felt they were making reasonable and necessary suggestions, and weren't trying to make me do things I didn't truly need like some shady places do. They also noticed that I hadn't done four different recall fixes, which Jaime offered to take care of (no charge) while they had the MDX. bJaime and Springfield Acura were able to work with me on doing the jobs that needed to be done without breaking the bank. The experience was great. From the valet drop-off and loaner car to Jaime's ongoing communication through the job and it was nice that the bill at the end wasn't a penny more than the original estimate I agreed to before having them do the work. That's integrity. It's been a couple of weeks and I feel like the MDX runs better than it has in years! I would have no hesitation whatsoever in using Springfield Acura for my future service needs and would recommend them to anyone with an Acura. More

They emailed an offer for "pre-road trip service" for $10. I thought I ought to try them at least once since I may buy a new Acura to replace my current one, which I bought elsewhere. I called and made a phone appointment for that particular service, mentioning the $10 offer. Imagine my shock when I showed up and was told the written offer was not for $10, but for "$10 off $44.95"--even though the written offer they sent me did not use the word "off" or "discount" or anything else. When I pointed this out, all they said was that many had complained about it. How can you trust such deceptive people? More
