I had been looking for a small truck with low miles and a manual transmission. I wanted a basic no-frills truck to keep for the long haul. I happened to be driving by Stan McNabb Chevrolet and saw a little black GMC Canyon and looked in the window, and it had a manual transmission. They weren’t open so I went home and looked online and saw that it had 45k miles and was priced right with a good Carfax. I called and talked to Don McKay and decided to go test drive it. It was what I was looking for and I was happy with the price. I already had financing arranged but they got a lower rate for me. It was a no-hassle transaction with none of the expected upsell drama. They listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. Danny Veirs was also involved because Don was working with another customer who came in the same time as me asking for him.
