I had a great shopping experience at Star Cadillac and even after the purchase, they were excellent with some issues that came up. Star goes above and beyond with their customers! I was looking at getting a car to replace mine but was in no rush, I researched as much as I could, and finally narrowed it down to the Cadillac Optiq since I was ready to go electric. I had been looking online for the exact model and color combo with the features I wanted for awhile and found a couple of dealerships that had what I was looking for. We headed to Star since it was the closest, after work to look at the two color/model combinations I was interested in figuring I could at least start the process. I wasn’t fully expecting to make a purchase that day but brought everything I needed along, and I figured we’d at least get the process started if the stars were aligned. Steve Miller met us outside. He was friendly and helpful and made his presence known, but he also gave me space to look around and decide next steps, which I really appreciated. I met back up with him wheni was ready for a test drive and a deeper look at the cars. He answered all of my questions without any pressure. After the test drive, I was ready to talk numbers and see what Star could do. Steve was laid back, honest, and treated me more like a friend than a customer. At no point did I feel like I was getting a sales pitch just to make a sale, and that’s really important to me. The car was exactly what I wanted, the deal was fair, and Steve made the purchase happen. The whole process was easy, smooth, and, most importantly, fair. Even the trade-in process was better than I expected. I go to dealerships in the defensive side because when I say I’ve had some terrible dealership experiences, I mean it. I try to be open but I’m also not going to be treated poorly. I’ve walked away from what probably would have been good deals simply because the salesperson made the experience miserable. I would absolutely recommend Steve and Star to anyone I know who’s looking to buy a car. Justin Sell from the finance department was excellent as well. He was friendly, explained everything clearly, and handled everything in a fair and honest way. He made what is normally a stressful, major purchase feel easy, and I really appreciated that. Buying a car is a huge investment and commitment, so being treated well goes a long way. I wasn’t expecting to trade in my car and drive home in a brand-new one that day, but the experience from start to finish made me feel comfortable enough to stop shopping elsewhere and buy from Star. The only thing I regret is that I wish I had come in earlier because the purchase ended up going past closing time—sorry about that! Seriously, thank you Steve and Justin for such a great buying experience. You guys rock! I walked out of the dealership feeling like a member of the Star family and felt like I got a fair deal. I took my car at this location about a year ago for warranty work. I have a 2019 XT4 Cadillac premium luxury. It had oil leaks under the vehicle power train issue. The service was horrible they kept my car there for over a month. I asked them for a loner car and they wouldn't accommodate me. The service advisor was extremely rude they can look his name up in the computer. I was so frustrated I called the branch manager at the time. He was no help also. If Cadillac strives for excellent customer service they could of lend me a vehicle. When I go to Fred Beans Cadillac for repairs on my vehicle there is never a issue.
