What a great car buying experience My Wife and I started looking for a new vehicle on a Thursday Feb 18th. We visited several dealerships in the area, one of which we have bought 3 vehicles in the past. We were not satisfied with what we saw at the other dealerships. They had very little inventory thus a very limited selection of vehicles We drive past Star Buick GMC off RT33 often on our way to shop at the stores on RT 248.. We decided to stop at Star. We entered the lot and browsed around. Lots of inventory, many choices. This nice young man named Marcos Nascimento came out into the lot and after some introductions he asked what we were looking for. We told him. He immediately mentioned several vehicles on the lot. He showed us these models but we wanted time to think about it. He also mentioned a vehicles we had not looked at. We had to leave so we told him we could be back the next day to test drive this SUV because it sounded like exactly what we were looking for.. We set a time and came back for the test drive. During the test drive , Marcos explained the different features of the SUV. I drove first then my wife drove the SUV around the same route. Marcos did not rush us nor did he pressure us for a decision on purchasing the SUV. But we did decide to buy the SUV that day because it was exactly what we were looking for.. The Star team went to work and the paper work was done in no time. We waited in Star’s great waiting area with a giant TV, refreshments, snacks and coffee. That was Friday the 19th afternoon. On Monday the 22nd, we returned at 3 o’clock to pick up the SUV. It was ready and waiting. We signed all the paperwork, exchanged keys. Marcos then did something that few salespeople will do. He walked us through all the features of the vehicle. Not just an overview but a hands on walk through. Since the SUV was loaded this took some time. Marcos did not rush us. He answered all our questions. Marcos then helped me set up my smartphone to use with the SUV’s mobile telephone system. Marcos was in no hurry to get us out of there once the deal was done. Marcos knows everything about Star’s inventory on the lot .If and when we need another vehicle, we will be going back to Star Buick GMC and talking with Marcos about our needs. Our salesman was Marcos N and we could not have asked for a better person. We told him what we were looking for and what we wanted to spend and he just smiled and said, “We can do that!” Marcos never pressured us and never tried to push us into something we didn’t want. He really took the time to show us the vehicle and explained how everything worked. By the time we finished our deal, we felt like Marcos was a friend. He even went back over all the vehicle options after the purchase and helped sent everything up. We will definitely go back to purchase our next vehicle and we will request Marcos. Everyone we were introduced to was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The entire dealership is very professional. The overall experience of car buying is usually not a great experience, but I have to say, this was a really great experience and I actually look forward to buying my next vehicle with Star! Seemed like we didn't dress nice to buy a car Went to see some mustangs,we were introduced to Wayne. As Wayne sat in his chair shoving peanuts in his face, did not seem to care.He states so you want to test drive a car but not buy it today. We said yes we want to See what we like. I commented back that he didn't seem interested in our business. So after 2 min of being treated like low class, and complete silence, we got up and left. Well sorry Star! Wayne lost you a deal. That day we went somewhere else. Test drove cars. And bough a 2013 Boss 302. I guess we just didn't look classy Enough to have money. Maybe you were having a bad day, or maybe you shouldn't judge people like you did!!! More

We have piece of mind that she has a vehicle with bumper to bumper coverage and road side assistance because we live out of state. We initially asked for a pre-owned small suv like the one we have been repairing monthly. He did not steer us to a pre-owned vehicle for the commission check but chose to make sure our daughter would be safe on the road. He really erased my stigma of "shady car salesman" his honesty is to be commended. He went thru the features of the vehicle and a tour of the facility.He is an asset to Star Car. More
