Adam and I caught up the next day along with my "grown" son who was doubtful I would find the car I want for a price that was reasonable. After we spoke to Adam a few minutes, he stepped away, then called us outside. He showed me a beautiful Verano, with a price sticker to match and the car was a brand new 2016. My son glanced at the price and thought it was a 2015. We took a test drive and I decided this was the car for me. Adam made the whole process happen very smoothly. He was very knowledgeable about all the ins and outs of the car and carefully explained them all, the services, and the extended maintenance warranty he thought was important for me and helped me reach the right price on that warranty. Star GMC Comes Through When Other Dealership Cannot! I will spare you the all the painstaking details about how another local GMC dealership botched a deal that I have been working with them on for 3 wee I will spare you the all the painstaking details about how another local GMC dealership botched a deal that I have been working with them on for 3 weeks. Lets just say I had a very limited time frame to pick up my new GMC Yukon XL Denali, and my deal and pickup time were all set. You cannot imagine my frustration when I arrived at the dealership on the morning of the scheduled pickup date to see that that dealership had cut a hole in the front bumper of my new Yukon while removing the plastic wrap. This is aside the fact that despite the pickup date being scheduled for 3 weeks, I arrived to find the car was not ready. After telling me how they had checked out the vehicle and they were surprised to see this damage I was not at all satisfied with how they handled the situation and was quite displeased when they told me that they did not care if I purchased it, they would just fix the bumper and sell it to someone else. Knowing that I had selected a premium paint, I did not want some collision center paint job on my brand new Yukon. Star GMC and Adam save the day... After walking out of the other dealership I called Star GMC from the parking lot. Seeing the first deal go through, I knew that the exact vehicle that I was interested in was at Star. How do I know, because the first dealership had to get the vehicle from Star, and lucky for me, Star had 2 of them! After talking with Adam for a few minutes, he confirmed that the vehicle that I wanted was available. I told him the price that I was willing to pay and my deal that I had with the other dealership. After speaking with the sales manager Star not only matched my deal, they beat it! They told me that they could have the car ready when I get there in 2 hours. I was very pleased to arrive and promptly greeted by Adam who immediately showed me the car being detailed in the garage. Everything was set up and it looked great. After some paperwork my lease return was completed, my financing was set, and I was driving home in my new Yukon XL Denali. Star really came through. Adam was excellent to work with. He made it clear that during my purchase time, he was focused on making sure everything when perfect for the purchase. He really takes pride in his work and his attention to detail. He is personable and helpful. Mark was thoughtful and efficient with the financing. He explained the price breakdown, warranty, and financing options. Adam and Mark both showed that they and the staff at Star care about the customer. Adam followed up with a phone call and was able to answer a number of questions that came up even after the deal. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase from Star. The vehicle, price, lease return, purchase and financing experience were all excellent. I will continue to purchase my vehicles from Star and recommend the dealership to my friends. More
