Over the years Philip has not changed and the same courtesy, efficiency and patience that he as a Salesperson exhibited 9 years ago were of the same high standard that he as a Sales Manager demonstrated this week, thus enabling this 'somewhat on the fence' shopper to remain as part of the Hyundai family. For the vehicle orientation Philip referred me to Mark Stechel, who I was meeting for the first time and this gentleman was the consummate professional in patiently educating me about the various features of the new vehicle and he did so in the most unhurried and detailed manner. My time spent sitting at Mark's desk (as I awaited the completion of the paperwork) was also very enlightening and instructive as he spoke glowingly about his experiences as an owner of Hyundai vehicles for many years. My heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Philip and Mark for another successful and satisfactory transaction with Star Hyundai of Bayside. More

Always Top Notch We have a long relationship with Star Hyundai/Genesis and it is because of the excellent level of customer service that we continue to receive from sa We have a long relationship with Star Hyundai/Genesis and it is because of the excellent level of customer service that we continue to receive from sales (Zack Lintz) to service (Foster Copeland). It is very evident to us that unlike other dealerships, once the deal is done, you are NOT forgotten. My recent experience with service was top notch as usual. I called Foster at service to schedule an oil change and mentioned a small concern that recently popped up with my G-80. That's all I needed to do. Foster took care of the rest. He picked up my car as promised, addressed my requests and issues and returned the car to me clean and shiny but only after he was 100% certain that there were no issues with my car!! It is rare to find this level of customer service at any dealership but at least for us, it is routine at Star Hyundai/Genesis. Kudos to the entire Star team but special thanks to Zack and Foster for continuing to make our Star experience an exceptional one. As an extra note, my daughter recently brought her Elantra into service for an oil change and NYS inspection and Foster made sure that my daughter was well taken car of and more so that the car was good to go for another year. THE QUICK SUMMARY is . . . if you’re looking to buy a midsize car in the 25K to 32K price range, you can NOT do better than a Hyundai Sonata Limited. It is a “full blown” LUXURY car, with a truly affordable price tag. And, if you live in the NYC (area) you can NOT do better than, Mr. Philip Robinson @ Star Hyundai, Northern Blvd. Bayside, NY AND NOW . . . THE DETAILS: We purchased our third Hyundai Sonata (two for us, one for our daughter), a 2018 Sonata Limited, on Oct.23rd. 2018. Here’s our buying experience. The car (same as our 2015 Sonata was) is “as close to perfect” as a car can be. In three years of ownership of that 2015 model, we had ZERO out-of-pocket repair expenses, and only went into the shop for regular vehicle maintenance. Three cars into the Hyundai Sonata brand, I still believe that this particular car, THE Sonata Limited, is truly an “affordable luxury car”. I say that because, after having done my homework (hours and hours of internet research homework), plus dealer visits, and test drives of (comparably) priced cars in it’s (category) price range ($25 - $32K), dollar-for-dollar, feature-for-feature, the Sonata Limited wins out (over the Toyota Camry, Subaru Legacy, Honda Accord, Nissan Ultima, Ford Fusion and Chevy Malibu. And . . . BTW - I test drove, and test priced (EVERY) one of those cars! EVERY ONE! My (very well researched) conclusion is . . . to get the “full list” of features/options that I have in my 2018 Sonata “Limited” . . . you would have to buy a $35K to $45K “full size”, (moderately priced) car, or a $45K to $75K luxury (status) vehicle. Take my word for it, I did the homework for you ! Then too, there is the UNBEATABLE five year/60K mile warranty, that is ONLY offered by Hyundai and Kia. And . . only . . means ONLY! So, if you lease your vehicle for 36 to 42 months, you will pay ZERO dollars in (covered) repairs – for the ENTIRE term of your lease! ZERO! Lastly: About our dealer: We went back to Philip Robinson of Star Hyundai, Bayside, NY because he is truly a “trustworthy” sales person, and a “heck-of-a-nice-guy”. For the third time now, he has made the whole (arduous and intimidating) process of new car buying, and lease return . . . seamless and painless! He even took care of ALL the details of registering the new vehicle and transitioning the insurance from our old Sonata to this new one! We came in on a Friday afternoon, and by the following Monday night, our 2018 Sonata Limited was “ready for pick-up” !
