Unsatisfied Customer The customer service I have received from Star Hyundai in Flushing NY is atrocious. I had sold my car in December 2016 and I had requested a cancellat The customer service I have received from Star Hyundai in Flushing NY is atrocious. I had sold my car in December 2016 and I had requested a cancellation of my extended warranty service which I had originally purchased with my car (2014 Hyundai Veloster). Vadeem (financing manager) first tells me I have to call Fidelity to cancel. I do so. Fidelity tells me that the dealership must cancel for me and that the only thing they can help me with is the information of what percentage of my policy is refundable. I call back Star Hyundai and inform Vadeem I would like my policy cancelled. He is rude, dismissive, and nonchalant about my request and hangs up on me before even confirming basic information necessary to process the request (Such as where my updated address is to send the check). I have to call back to give this to him. Now, it’s February. I’ve called every day for the last two and a half weeks to inquire as to where my refund is. I would have gone in person but Ive relocated out of state. He was unavailable EVERY SINGLE DAY and not once returned my calls despite the fact that I have left a message daily. Today I decided to call Fidelity since clearly your company’s customer service is nonexistent. They kindly inform me that Star Hyundai has never processed my request and that my policy is still active for a car THAT I SOLD IN DECEMBER. I call back to speak with a manager and guess what, no apology, no explanation - we’ll process it now. I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE PURCHASE ANOTHER CAR FROM THIS COMPANY OR ENDORSE IT. More
