This is not about the dealership. It's ALL about the Service Department is the worst experience 5 trips back and forth, 2 rentals, multiple non-reimbursed LYFT rides, and 4 weeks late It's ALL about the Service Department is the worst experience 5 trips back and forth, 2 rentals, multiple non-reimbursed LYFT rides, and 4 weeks later. Matt, the center manager has issues with customers in general. Not professional, treats females as if they know nothing (told my wife to give the phone to me because he feels she could not understand what he was trying to explain), likes to get into shouting matches and when he's wrong, he'll hang up on you and flat out lie to your face. He needs to go and do something he happy with. Obviously, he's got issues that he needs to sort out. Because the dealership has not authority over the service staff, we had to escalate our issues to Hyundai US Corporate and they had to intervene to make sure our 2020 Palisade Calligraphy was fixed and inspected. Without their help we would not have resolved the car issues. Now, they would not take action to Matt even though he is the main issue. You've been warned - Do Not Go to Star Hyundai Service station!! By the way, I've heard Matt say "this is why I don't drive a Hyundai" - glad to hear he supports the company he works for. He needs to be educated in de-escalation, listening to the customer, show empathy, and show a little bit of patience when working with a customer. It's too bad I'm wasting my time writing this but it's got to be shared. Matthew Nattier - you should be fired because you are not fit to be in a customer service industry or even a manager who can manage his own anger issues. More
