Ed Thornton is One Of THE BEST service managers around. Runs a great place with customer service being one of the main ingrediants. He's honest and an excellent representitve for the Hyundai org. I try to bring food and other gratuities when ever I need to go there,just to show my appreciation of how like a family I feel when ever I need to go there. More
Jessica Santana is really a Vital asset to the Hyundai family. She is above excellent with the customers and staff a like. A breath of fresh air.... I had actually had a good experience at Star's showroom when I leased a new Hyundai Tucson. After three years, the mileage was so low we decided to buy the car at lease end, in January 2021. That same month, because we were coming up on 30K miles, we got an email from Star about the routine 30,000 mile maintenance. So, we brought it to Star Hyundai Service. There was also a factory recall on the ABS system. I also asked them to check a clicking sound. To my surprise (and not theirs- it is all over the internet) they told me my engine was blown and needed to be replaced, under warranty. Turns out that metal shavings were left in the engine during the manufacturing process which shreds the inside. They had my car for almost TWO MONTHS, waiting first to GET the engine from Hyundai, then to install it. I was repeated told there were three engines to be installed in front of you...there's only two in front of you...sorry there's two in front of you (TWO? last week it was only one)! Why are so many engines blown on low mileage cars???? No answer from them... Today, they called and said my car was finally ready. When I went to pick it up, there was no urgency. I was late to work, so I signed the papers and left. After looking at the bill, the engine and recall were covered under the warranty, BUT, THEY STILL CHARGED ME ALMOST $500 BUCKS FOR THE 30K MAINTENANCE!!! A TUNE-UP? ON A NEW ENGINE? ADDING COOLANT? LABOR CHARGES? REALLY? WHY WOULD A NEW ENGINE NEED A TUNE UP? Their short term greed lost me as a long term customer. More
Excellent and efficient service. I recently was there for an oil change. The staff, Jessica and Mr. Singh were polite and the service was efficient.
