This review is for the Service department and does not reflect any of the mechanics. My review has to do with poor customer service by Advisor Byungju and Service manager Ed. Also, in the past I have rated this same department 5 at least three times. I purchased my Santa Fe in Pennsylvania in 2018 with an extended warranty. I called the sales person in PA. to see if the part that I wanted fixed is covered. He called me back and said yes. I brought my car to Star Hyundai and after it went to the mechanics, I was told the part was not covered by the warranty. After discussions, I asked Byungju if he can call the Hyundai dealership in PA. to check why he said it was covered. He said it does not matter, we are not associated with them. I said can you just call them and he said to go there and let them fix it. At that point, I asked for the manager and then Ed came to the outside of the office. He agreed with Byungju and said that the warranty company would not pay for the work to be done and again I could not get him to call the sales person who sold me the car and said the part is covered. So I said, then when I get your Star Hyundai survey, I will give a low rating for poor service and his comment was do not come back here. I never heard that when I gave them a 5 rating. When I got home, I made the call to the warranty company, and Star Hyundai was right. All I wanted was the advisor or manager to make the call to my sales person just to see why he believed it was covered. They never took that extra step to just make a simple call. That is poor customer service. I guess since Ed does not want me back, if I need to use the extended warranty, I will go to an independent mechanic. A simple phone call would have made a score of 1 to a 5. More

THE Staff was super friendly and nice very efficient but the location was extremely cramped. There was not enough seating for all the people that were waiting for service. I was there at 7:30 am and there w the location was extremely cramped. There was not enough seating for all the people that were waiting for service. I was there at 7:30 am and there were already 4 other customers ahead of me and we were in a very small space with no real social distancing. The waiting area was very run down and there were boxes everywhere. I would not go back to that location because of the layout. More
