I’ve been going here for years. For the most part, they’ve been very good. I trust their mechanical work. I had one bad experience having nothing to do with their mechanical work. One of their helpers who moved my car outside, left the window down and it rained, drenching the interior of my car. Star Nissan gave me a voucher to a car wash place that suctioned the water out of my car, but it was time -consuming and disturbing. Also, remember to pay by check or cash; because if you pay by credit card, you will be charged an fee. Except for those two issues, I like this place. They do good work and try to get the work done within a reasonable period of time and try to give you an accurate assessment of how long it will take. They have also applied discounts for me when I wasn’t aware that a discount offer was available, which was greatly appreciated. The people who work there are courteous. They keep computerized records of your car’s past service and don’t seem to mind if you call to check on how long it has been since your last oil change or whatever. My overall experience with Star Nissan Service Center is in the plus column. More

Because I had an emergency. I brought my 2022 Nissan Rogue SL AWD that I lease the night before to a BP Gas station in Queens where I go to fill gas up. I noticed garage was open and the men were not busy standing outside about 530p. So I asked them to do an oil change for me. While finishing up the oil change the mechanics called the manager over and then called me to my truck and said to me you need to bring the car to the dealership. There is a oil leak and I said how why. It’s a new car a few months old. This is the first place I took it too. I don’t see any oil when I park at my house in the driveway. This is the first I’m hearing about it. Then the manager said to his mechanic take a video I don’t want you to blame us for it. The manager at the gas station maybe head mechanic said it could be a loose screw. Take it to the dealership this is a new car you have a warranty you won’t need to pay for it. So I did. And I explained to Star service department at 4pm with no appointment what my problem was. I saw oil leaking last night when I brought my car home to my driveway and today at work. Please help me check it out. It’s new. They were so nice and too k my car in to check everything then Joshua the service advisor told me to come with him to my truck and let Vijay the mechanic tell me what’s wrong. And I told him what the gas station said. He said never go to a gas station or them again. He said they caused this leak. I just want to let you know and I want to call and let Nissan Headquarters know All the service staff at Star Nissan should give an award to Vijay the mechanic and Joshua the service advisor for all there hard work and dedication they do there for all the customers like me. Joshua told me I get free oil changes with Nissan. I said yes I know. I’ve least my previous Rogue from Nissan but the dealership is in N.J. I don’t want to pay the tolls. He understood. At the end at checkout he said bring it here we’ll take care of you. What a great gesture Joshua the service advisor made. I thank him for that. I want to give a shout out and thank Joshua and Vijay for fixing my car without any appointmentt. They both saved me a lot of heartache and suffering. More

Our AC was repaired approximately 1 1/2 months ago and it suddenly stopped working. When we took it back, we were told that during the first assessment, Nissan didn’t detect an additional leak.
