Unprofessional! Even though the dealership new my credit report, (Applied on line to the finance department 2 days before my visit) they negotiated with me like I had Even though the dealership new my credit report, (Applied on line to the finance department 2 days before my visit) they negotiated with me like I had a perfect credit score in order to give me the most competitive price. After spending 5 hours in the dealership, (3 hours in the morning negotiating and 2 hours in the evening waiting for the new car) when the new car arrived and I was ready to pick it up and go, I was told that my credit score is not the best and that I have to pay more money in order for the bank to approve it. The next day I spoke to the manager and I explained to him that I felt trapped and what happened was unethical and I was promised that he will do something to make me feel better. A week later no news from the manager or the dealership about my complains. More

Be Aware of Their Business Scam Avoid this place as all cost. Unethical Business Practice. Fraudulent Financial Manager. They lie to customers for the business. I purchased my ne Avoid this place as all cost. Unethical Business Practice. Fraudulent Financial Manager. They lie to customers for the business. I purchased my new Avalon at this place on May 2018. After pick the car, the Sales person introduced me to their Financial Manager, Nick Petropoulos. Beware of this guy. He is doing UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE to get your money. I have a great Credit Score. but he could only offer me 3.89% interest rate on my car loan. We didn’t agree on the deal, so I left. Next day, he called me to the Dealer and told me that he was able to find a bank that could offer me with 1.94% interest only if I purchased the extended warranty($1,900), otherwise, the rate is not getting approved by the bank. I though it is great deal because the money I save on the interest will cover most of cost of extended warranty. But, THIS STATEMENT IS A FRAUDULENT. The bank never requires the customer to purchase extended warranty to get approved for the rate. I found out 2 month later that I have been tricked. So I wanted to cancel my Extended Warranty. I called Star Toyota and talk to their Manager named RP the situation. He told me that Nick is the financial manager, I have to talk to Nick directly for the cancelation. Fine. I went to Star Toyota to meet Nick, told him I need cancel my Warranty. His attitude was completed changed. He refused it, stated that my credit only get 2.99% interest rate with CapitalOne ( xxx, you told me it was 3.89% when I buy the car?????), and keep stated that he bought down the interest rate. (without tell your customer???you should tell ahead of time, so I can pay myself to buy down the interest rate, not the $1,900 extended warranty) The funny thing is that he refused again when I ask for the proof that he bought down the interest rate. At the end, he told me that I have to cancel my Extended Warranty myself, he is not going cancel for me. Do yourself a favor, avoid this unethical, fraudulent place especially when you try to finance your vehicle. More
