The Starling family has proudly served Central Florida’s automotive needs since 1948. Before becoming the Chevrolet dealer in Kissimmee, Carroll Starling worked with Commercial Credit in Orlando, helping local dealers and retail customers secure vehicle financing. In addition to leading the Chevrolet dealership, Carroll served over 12 years as a Kissimmee City Commissioner and played a role in the early development of Walt Disney World, helping to shape the transformation of Central Florida.
His son, Alan Starling, took over in 1975 at just 26 years old after returning from military service. As Central Florida's population rapidly grew through the 70s and 80s, so did the Starling automotive business. Alan followed in his father’s footsteps with deep community involvement—serving on the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (twice appointed by the Governor) and leading the Economic Development Council. His leadership extended nationally when he was elected Chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) in 2003.
Today, the third generation of the Starling family—Jack, Walker, and Andrew—continue the legacy across Central Florida. They each operate and lead Starling Chevrolet Cadillac in DeLand, Starling Chevrolet in Orlando, and Starling Chevrolet GMC in St. Cloud, ensuring the family tradition of excellence continues for generations to come.

Well if I am being honest my first experience was a challenge but this time Geramel actually took the time to listen to my concerns, addressed them with Tim and took wonderful care of us. Recently purchased a 2023 GMC Denali from Starling. The truck had a couple small issues when I drove it off the lot. They assured me I they would take care of the problems whether it was their dealersh The truck had a couple small issues when I drove it off the lot. They assured me I they would take care of the problems whether it was their dealership or another. I lived 3 hours away from Starling. After, some back and forth with parts issues Starling came to pick up my truck 3 hours away to make the problem right. They replaced the defective parts on their time and labor. They also gave me a brand new loaner truck to drive. I had my truck back within a week fixed. They honored their commitment to fix and take care of my truck despite the initial parts and service issues I experienced with them. Fadi, Tim and Anthony were on top of it. More
