I went in for an oil change and Dominic tried to sell me a replacement brake rotors on my truck that didn't need to be repaired. I got a second opinion on the brake rotors among other things that needed to a replacement brake rotors on my truck that didn't need to be repaired. I got a second opinion on the brake rotors among other things that needed to be replaced according to starling, but the second opinion said they were perfectly fine. Before I was able to get that second opinion, Dominic and the team at Starling refused to put my truck back together. Only after involving the general manager was I allowed to get my truck after 2 more hours of waiting ontop of the two days it took up to this point. Reminder, this was only a oil change. I would never trust Dominic or anyone at Starling Chevrolet to even look at my Sliverado again. More
Went 3 days without a call back on when car would be looked at. Car sat at dealer for something like 9 or 10 days before fix of a radiator hose. Mechanic reported that they had to replace a t-stat as looked at. Car sat at dealer for something like 9 or 10 days before fix of a radiator hose. Mechanic reported that they had to replace a t-stat as well. Took a radiator hose fix from ~$250 to ~$2,000. Mechanic costs are too high. Also asked to replace cracked engine mount. Cost quoted was over $1,700. Took to a local mechanic to fix for $800 and it was done same day. Just don’t get the service premium for the exorbitant cost premium and wait time. More

Disclaimer: this is my first time buying from a Manufacturer dealership, so maybe they are all like this. First they tried to slip in a $1500 fee on top of the pricing they have listed for "tint, Manufacturer dealership, so maybe they are all like this. First they tried to slip in a $1500 fee on top of the pricing they have listed for "tint, and protection pkg, ect." What's most annoying about it is the dishonesty, they claim to have added this stuff to the truck but they had literally only got it in the day before and it was still dirty from when it was traded in. There is absolutely zero chance they paid anybody to put that stuff on in the previous 24hrs, but didn't have time to do a simple clean. Not to mention the tint on the truck was well beyond the legal limit, so I'd be surprised if they commissioned it. Anyways after a few rounds of haggling they took it off. Then I waited probably 2 hours for financing to be ready for me. When i get in there it takes a bit more time and they they give me the monthly payment amount, which, oh by the way, includes A 2 yr warranty, some more protection xx, a few other xx packages. I told him i didn't want it and he proceeds to take 5 mins to rework it and only take one of the things off. I had to argue with him for probably 30 mins to get him to take it all off. Finally I'm able to get the APR rate out of them, which i had been told by a salesmen would be around 4-5%, ends up at nearly 8% with a 840 credit score. I had a preapproved from BOA that i showed them was a 5.9% he takes that into another office for 20 mins. Then comes back and claims that it didn't take into account the "high" mileage of the vehicle (60k miles) Anyways he knocked it down a little bit and honestly by then i was tired of it all, I'd been there 4hrs, which i guess is their strategy all along. I just don't understand how buy a truck is more difficult and takes more time than buying a house, it's crazy. I've bought from used dealerships and i signed maybe 3 things, didn't have to haggle any xx fees and i was out the door. It's safe to say i won't be returning. More
