Here is an honest review of Sterling McCall Acura Sugarland. It may be a bit long, but I want anyone reading it to understand what was going on. First I say that they are very good. If you do not rea Sugarland. It may be a bit long, but I want anyone reading it to understand what was going on. First I say that they are very good. If you do not read any further know that I had a good experience and feel I was treated with courtesy by everyone I dealt with there. The dealership is clean, and the people I met were all friendly and polite. I have been to dealerships where the minute you pull into the parking lot, you can see the salespeople jockeying for who gets to try to sell you something. This was not the case. I was greeted when I came in, I told them who I was there to see. And the whole thing went really well overall. Would I like to have gotten a better deal, well sure who wouldn't? But dealerships are a business that is supposed to make money, they are not a non-profit group. I got a deal that I consider fair. Of course, I also did my homework and put some effort into trying to get to the price I was looking for. And they did get to that price. I think it was a price that I am not going to regret and I am sure they also made money from it. So that is a good deal for both sides. Since I was out of town when I really started to look, my salesperson (Tracey L) worked with me through email which was nice. She was responsive and honest and we came to an agreed-upon out-the-door price. When I came into the dealership she took the time to make sure I meet the service manager and made sure I was comfortable with the car. I did have questions about some of the fees as they had them structured. And I did ask about them, I also was reminded and agreed with the fact that I was working the out-the-door price. So in the end, I really do not care how they write up the deal as long as the final (out-the-door) price was what we agreed to. The finance person (Brandon S) was straight up and honest about financing and about the add-ons. He did not try to pressure me into buying anything extra that I did not want. He made sure I knew about what they offered, and if I said thanks but no, He said OK and moved on. I cannot speak to how good or bad their service department is yet, because the car is new and hopefully it will be a bit before I have to go to see them. But if how they treated me making and completing the deal to drive off the lot is any indicator. I think things will be really good. And that is important because the service department is what will keep me as a long-term customer with them. And honestly, I felt as if they wanted to keep my business after buying the car. Maybe that is wishful thinking on my part, but I do not think so. I feel they have a good model, they care about the customer and they try to do the right thing. And in my opinion, that is all you really can ask for in the end. Coming in with a deal already negotiated I spent about 2 and 1/2 hours there before driving off the lot with my new car. That included inspecting and test driving the car (~50 minutes), walking through the deal with my salesperson (~30 minutes), waiting for either my salesperson or finance to gather paperwork and run numbers, etc., basically prep work for the sale (~30 minutes), walking the numbers with the finance person (~20 minutes), asking a lot of questions and getting the answers from the sales manager (John) and fiance person (~20 minutes) - and that 20 minutes was all on me working to educate myself and validate what I was seeing. So if you have read all of this let me give you the bottom line. I absolutely would recommend Sterling McCall Acura Sugarland to anyone. Just remember while you are buying a car (and it can be a lot of money), they are still a business and are not going to give it to you for free, but they will treat you right and show you respect like they want to keep your business. I went in for test drive and noticed that tpms light was on and told my sales person and said would get it checked. Then did paperwork and when i went to pick up the car and got it home it was 2 quarts low on and told my sales person and said would get it checked. Then did paperwork and when i went to pick up the car and got it home it was 2 quarts low on oil and carfax reports said was just serviced. I picked up the car and tpms light was still on and sales person said that batteries was bad on sensor and dealership will not change it but they put nitrogen in my tires which i had to pay for and now i have to get it done my self and waste that nitrogen.because even general manager doesn't care and see they didn't do anything wrong.
