I call and spoke with someone and explained what was happening with my truck. He advised me to call a towing company that they have a contract with . The guy explained to me to diagnose my car and have happening with my truck. He advised me to call a towing company that they have a contract with . The guy explained to me to diagnose my car and have it towed by their 3 party towing company that it would be free. Well that’s what I did. To have it diagnosed was 550$ so I told them no. They said I needed a battery so they sent me a link to approve it and I did. Once I told him no about the 550$ just to send me what I owed them. He sent me a link with a bill for 240$ I paid it. A week later I get a call saying I forgot to pay for the towing. I explained to Nicolas that was not correct and I was told something different. Also that he sent me the bill himself. First I was threatening that they would take my truck if I didn’t pay for the towing. After I talk to Nicolas again and ask why did I have to pay because I was lied to he simply said since you are refusing to pay we will put in the system that you can never come to Sterling McCall again. I explained to him I had someone that would tow my truck to and from for the same price so I wouldn’t have used their towing service or their diagnostic service for those prices. I ended up paying for a battery and having my truck towed away because it was no way I could pay them 550$ for a diagnostic charge to begin with. Nothing was free. But to be clear my problem is with the towing fee. When I decided not to pay for the diagnostic service I told him to send me whatever I owed him. He sent the link. I paid it. A week later he contacted me and said I needed to pay a 150$ tow or I’ll never be allowed back. Just be honest from the start. If you are dishonest from the beginning I don’t want you working on my vehicles to begin with. 🚨 Just be careful More
