My husband and I had been shopping for weeks for my daughter a used car. We live in Adairsville and travelled all up Hwy 41 and stopped at many places along the way. I came in looking to rebuild my credit with a new vehicle just as advertised. Before i begin, I understand people in my situation can't be too much if a chooser, but I do believe not settling for the anythin just as advertised. Before i begin, I understand people in my situation can't be too much if a chooser, but I do believe not settling for the anything. With that being said, I was almost sold into a Toyota Corolla. Decent vehicle and will last long, but the particular Corolla I was being sold was dented everywhere, not just cosmetic but severe denting. I thank God I brought someone with me as well because while they were sitting in the back seat, the floor was wet as well as the inside doors (the clothe.) I understand the logistics of why they were trying to sell me this car. They wanted to get rid of it due to the condition of the car and I guess they believed I would take it due to the conditions of my credit. I let them know I was approved down the road and that they were not offering me vehicles like this. It was then when they asked me what would I want. I told them it was a 2012 Ford Focus which is a lot cleaner, dentless, and low miles. They were more than happy to work that out for me once I told them I was going to leave. I looked past the Corolla incident and moved on with the deal. I noticed the keys that I was provided did not have a keyless entry remote, unlike advertised. I was told by an individual that he would look into it, but after two weeks of leaving voicemails I still have not heard back from him. I will give credit to where it is due. My sales person was a nice guy and wanted to sell me a car. It's just that the way the sales process went and the follow up after purchasing will not have me suggesting my family or friends to deal with this dealership. I thank God that I accomplished what I set out for, which was a decent vehicle with low mileage to rebuild my credit it, but I felt like I had to fight for it with the people who are suppose to look out for my best interest. More
