I'm definitely giving Justin 5 stars (10/10). Wow. You caught a winning employee there. The sales dept might have been following corporate rules. 2 huge problems. 1) Push for end-of-month sales Wow. You caught a winning employee there. The sales dept might have been following corporate rules. 2 huge problems. 1) Push for end-of-month sales caused me to be there until 12 midnight, when we might have continued the sale the next day. I'm guessing they knew the car's discount of 2,500 continued the next day. It was insane to stay so late. I kept thinking we were almost done. 2) Corporate policy I guess. Presenting me with the markup options at the very end of the sale (things like "appearance package") was insane. I'd been from the start asking for this info so I wouldn't have to make an exhausted decision under pressure to leave/buy now. I looked at the finance guy and said "this is going to take me 4 hours". I'm still not sure I made the right decisions. No time to research/contact my insurance agent. Additionally, when I went back to get detailed info, from my limited perspective, the person I talked to was playing games. I only wanted a copy of the printed 1-page sheet where the options were presented, that I'd used to make the decisions. This last bit was insane (last minute, exhausted, why not tomorrow). Again, the salesman was outstanding. The end of the finance/sign docs part was a nightmare. Even without the absurd part at the end, we should have continued the next day. Leaving after midnight? What the heck??? I was too tired/thought we were almost done. I should have walked away. 3 pm - midnight on 3 reeses bars and 2 bags of chips. I have reached the level of "angry", which is rare for me. The sale of my old car was also pushed because of the fake "today" timeline. I could have checked other buyers if I'd had time. Again, I'm an idiot for not walking away, so partly my fault this happened. More
