My family has purchased 3 vehicles from Stevens Ford. 1 brand new vehicle and 2 used. One of the two used was a Honda. We had it for about two months before it started having problems. We took it on a trip and it got Stuck in a different state. (Dealership still can’t figure out what’s wrong with it). That didn’t seem like an issue because we had purchased the “First Extended warranty”. The one benefit that was talked up by the finance guy (J.J”) was if anything happens to your vehicle we will provide you a rental vehicle while yours is in the shop. Unfortunately, when we called our car salesman (Brandon) he did not direct us to help, so we called (J.J) who told up on three separate occasions he’d call us back and never did. Next, we called the service department (Don) who told us he’d call us back, he never did. So, we called him back for the 3rd time and he was incredibly snappy on the phone about the situation and told us they do not have a rental for us (Because the company they go through was out). I explained we have been without a car for 4 going on 5 days and it was causing our family distress and we were disappointed In how we were getting thrown around from person to person because no one knew what to do about our issue. I explained, we purchased the issuance because we trusted J.J (finance guy) and Brandon (salesmen) would do right by us and we weren’t receiving good service when we needed it the most. He insisted none of this was fords fault and if I wanted to pursue it I’d have to speak with J.J, but he had just heard about this from Brandon a day previous. I stated that we actually called Brandon immediately for assistance and it was again, disappointing, that he waited 3 days to call him (Don the service manager); or at least point us In the direction of help.
Long story short, this dealership and it’s employees are eager and Motivated to sell you a vehicle, any vehicle in fact, (even ones that are poorly serviced and will brake down within a month or two), but if you need anything beyond that contract signature they do not have time for you. My family will not be purchasing from any Ford dealership again. Let me make it clear, not because we were sold a faulty car, but because we were provided with staff who did not have enough pride in their company to provide service beyond the Paycheck they received for our purchases. I am sad to say, we still have not received assistance.
If you have a family, a job, or anything that requires your vehicle to run. PLEASE, do not purchase from Stevens Ford or waste your money on “First Extended”.
