I finally get my crosstrek back, and the steering wheel is offset. My car’s never been to any shop other than a dealership. Stivers Subaru of Decatur has the worst shop I’ve been to. is offset. I brought my car in for replacement of air bags on a recall two times. The first time they put a knick in my dashboard when lifting it up. The second time, the knick was larger and my radio was damage recall two times. The first time they put a knick in my dashboard when lifting it up. The second time, the knick was larger and my radio was damaged. I didn't realize right away since it would pick up a signal in some (higher) locations and closer to the city. It turns out that they damaged the antenna part of the radio and I had to replace the unit. I had no proof other than the timing and had very little satisfaction dealing with them previously due to the damage to my dashboard. I would never purchase or have service done with this dealership again and recommend that you go elsewhere. More

When I moved to area I was fearful because my dealer in Virginia had treated me well since 2003 and I knew this larger dealer would not be as friendly and helpful as the one in Harrisonburg, VA. But I wa Virginia had treated me well since 2003 and I knew this larger dealer would not be as friendly and helpful as the one in Harrisonburg, VA. But I was wrong!! I got first class treatment all the way around. All issues I had were resolved quickly including the recall on my 2019 Ascent. Look forward to my next appointment. THANK YOU MARC! More

I wish I could find reason to give a better review; but, the longer I wait the more I'm set on a low score. Initially, Stivers Decatur Subaru seems the stereotypical dealership; and, that's okay. But, con the longer I wait the more I'm set on a low score. Initially, Stivers Decatur Subaru seems the stereotypical dealership; and, that's okay. But, considering the lack of attention to inspecting a new car before delivery, with a few failures seeming deliberate, given my experience I have to doubt management's desire to want satisfied customers. Failures to note: Splash guards installed directly over bright colored mud splatter, which ran from the front, driver's side wheel well to far up inside the rear bumper. Missing valve cap on one tire. Two mud dauber nests on the firewall, in plain view, under the hood. Scuff tear on the right shoulder of the front passenger's seat (an area protected by the B pillar, so probably done during seat installation (No other person, other than myself, has been in the car since the salesman got out.)). Mold release not completely removed from three tires. There are other minor flaws (and one seemingly popular flaw--sag of the left, rear corner) that appear to come from the factory, not Stivers Decatur Subaru's fault; but, it all comes back to inspecting the car being sold...before delivery to a customer. And, though no one can expect an entirely perfect new car, if price really does sell cars, then flaws should be disclosed and worked into the price equation, or simply fixed before the car leaves the lot.
