we went to stockers to buy a 2004 impala after haveing the car for a few months we were contacted by the state attorney generals office and told that our car was involved in a case they were working on fo the car for a few months we were contacted by the state attorney generals office and told that our car was involved in a case they were working on for odometer fraud so the car we bought thinking it only had 23,000 miles actually had 123,000 miles on it so we were told to go back to the dealer were we purchased it and they should replace it so we did as well as the state attorney general contacting stockers on the matter well gene stocker himself called us and said they would do everything in there power to help us and replace our car well they were given 2mts by the attorney general to do so well 6mts later after showing us 2 cars not even close to the one we bought they were junk we had to go back through the state attorney to get a car as nice and worth the same as we had origanly bought and the sales person was very rude and treated us like crap during the whole ordeal i will neaver ever tell anyone to buy a car from stockers they do not conduct a good business and there sales people are very rude it was not our fault this happend to our car but we were treated by everyone at stockers like we were a real incovience for them and we feel its because they were not makeing any money from us so to everyone out there do not go to stockers!!!!!!!!!!! I have relied on Stocker's for all my vehicle needs (purchases and service) since the 1980's. I originally bought a new car (Chevy Scooter)from them because of the reasonable price but have stayed with (purchases and service) since the 1980's. I have worked with Bob Ash for many years and he has always made himself available to answer my questions over the phone if possible to avoid the need to bring the car in if it isn't necessary. One time I was working in Willaimsport, 60 miles away and I was having trouble getting my new Subaru started. Before I thought about calling a tow truck , I called Stocker's and asked to speak to Bob. He explained what I was doing wrong and how the Subaru 'worked" and I was soon on my way. Another time I was having trouble installing a new headlight bulb for a Geo Prism I had purchased at Stocker's and Bob off ered to put it in for free. I could list dozens of "courtesy things" that Bob and the staff at Stocker's have done for me over the years but it shows how a company who cares about their customers will keep their customers. As I said I have purchased all my vehicles since early 1980's from Stockers. The price has always been good but the quality of the cars has or left me stranded. With regular maintenance the Chevys/Subarus I have purchased from them combined with their efficient, high quality service I have always had reliable transprotation. More

I had a recall and took my 2003 Trailblazer in for the work. The recalled item (along with several other items) were replaced. My gas tank had to be removed for the recall. My service engine light woul work. The recalled item (along with several other items) were replaced. My gas tank had to be removed for the recall. My service engine light would not shut off. The light would be off for 1 or 2 days after service work and then would come back on. Each time I took the vehicle back, I was told the light was on for a different reason and I needed another part repaired or replaced. The last time I took it back I was told I had a crack in the gas tank and the tank needed replaced for a cost of 1200.00. I questioned them as to why they couldn't determine the crack in the gas tank the first, second, or third time I returned it for repairs? I was never given an answer and was told they could take 200.00 off for the gas tank work. I feel that the tank was cracked the first time I had work done when it had to be removed for the recall work. I ended up buying a new car. After purchasing only Chevys (2 new cars from you and 2 used Blazers from you), I bought a new Ford Focus from a dealership in the Harrisburg area. More

I love Stocker and am a very loyal customer. They are the only people who touch my beloved Subaru and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I can't say enough about Bob Ash, the Service Manager. I brought my Malibu in for an inspection and tire rotation and while the car was there I asked to have 2 door dings repaired. All the work was completed as expected but the part that was beyond expec rotation and while the car was there I asked to have 2 door dings repaired. All the work was completed as expected but the part that was beyond expectations is that the day I had the car there, was not the normal "ding man's" day to be at the dealership. The service writer took it upon himself to track the guy down and asked him if he could make a special trip to the dealership to take care of my car. Turns out he did make the trip which resulted in my not needing to schedule a followup visit. More
