I always bring my vehicle to this dealership as I know the quality of the service is outstanding and is always done right the first time. The staff is always friendly and courteous. I also bring my vehicle in to the Quick Lane for oil changes and routine maintenance. I should say that I also bought my Explorer from Stoneham Ford as well. I would highly recommend Stoneham Ford. long awaited service appointment..or not! Have had great experiences here, not so this time. 2 week wait for a service appt, which they then pushed back another 2 business days. Said we didn't have an appt despite sending us an email the day before stating we had an appt. Took awhile for them to find the appt when dropping the car off. The repair to fix the "Driver Door Ajar" light on was quoted at $ 110. After waiting all day for a call, the "estimate" jumped to $ 460. No thanks, I'm all set. More

Not the best first impression My first service visit for a 2016 Edge was mixed. I reported an issue with a warning light, a software upgrade problem, a recall, and an oil change. T My first service visit for a 2016 Edge was mixed. I reported an issue with a warning light, a software upgrade problem, a recall, and an oil change. The service rep was pleasant but told me there was no recall and I must be just not updating the software correctly--ok. In the end they kept the car two days because the software wouldn't update (hmm) and then ended up not updating with the latest version--the reason for the visit. I had to convince the service representative that there was a recall by specifically referencing the date and content of the letter from Ford. He finally followed up and learned that the recall part was not yet in but yes, there is a recall. The staff was friendly and the service hours reasonable. The work gets a B as they failed to pay attention and just re-loaded the same software version and kept the car for two days to do it. The entire process would have been more satisfactory had the staff believed me the on intake and been more careful with the work. It leads me to expect that every service will be a painful back and forth of explanation, clarification, and closely following up and that it may not be right the first time. That's not the best impression. More
