Make sure you check all the recently reviews on google. Price they posted on Cars is different from their website, they don’t even mention dealer fee which is around $5000. Vinny was great, very attentive and courteous. Definitely recommend him. The team overall was friendly. The financing conversation and process could be a little more transparent. Tamer has been the best and most honest sales manager i have ever dealt with. Now that I have my deposit refunded I feel the need to air some information out. I drove almost 3 hours to this dealership. I called prior and asked if I liked the car and we came to financial terms for trade in and what not if I would be able to leave with the car that day and was assured yes. Well, drive there and that is not the case. The car I was interested in had an aftermarket exhaust which is no longer able to pass inspection due to that. They offered to put it back to stock and drive the car to me when it was ready. Fair enough. Things happen and that offer was enough for me to agree. I was assured it would be quick and probably by the following weekend. That was most certainly not the case. Then all the nonsense started. Apparently, they didn't have the title for it so we waited for that. Then once the title came in they were waiting for hondata to take out the tune that was done. Ok, one week turns into 2 then I get a phone call from the sales guy stating Hondata can not get the tune out. I also asked to please not run my credit until they had the car back and everything was set. Well they ran my credit and I got 8 hits tanking my credit score 56 points in the process. Now, this is where is gets super fishy. I was then told (and I have the phone call recorded) that it's no problem. They will register the vehicle in Florida and get me Florida plates to override the ny inspection issues. What?! I asked how would I even get plates and everything since I don't have an address in florida and was told they would re route the mail and have it sent to my house in NY. What address in Florida would my car have been registered at? Absolutely not. I called the sales guy and said no deal. Send me my refund. He did and texted a picture of the receipt. 2 days later I get a call from a manager that they refunded me twice and are running my card AGAIN to take back the second refund. While I will say the sales man and the manager I dealt with were very pleasant, nothing about any of the process sat well. Ended up buying a brand new car from a dealer near my house. Beware and do your research! More
The prices they list online completely, 100% BOGUS. I called 2019 Lexus RX 350L. The vehicle was listed at $38,990, but when you clicked on the link, it became $39,990. But that was only the beginni I called 2019 Lexus RX 350L. The vehicle was listed at $38,990, but when you clicked on the link, it became $39,990. But that was only the beginning. Virtually all dealerships now charge a "dealers fee" or "dealer's prep charge" or some other phony name for profit markup. The least of these I have encountered was $1,400, the most, $4,000. In the old days, dealers would try to upsell buyers with such dubious products as undercoatings. At least a wise buyer could refuse those add-ons. Not so with dealer fees. They are non-negotiable and therefore should be disclosed in the listings. With Stream Auto Outlet, the BS dealer fee was "only" $3,000. That is until I disclosed that I was a cash buyer, at which time I was told the vehicle would be $48,000! I do not know whether the 8K markup for not using their ripoff financing included the 3k dealer fee because I hung up on the scamster/salesman I was talking to. I would not purchase a vehicle at any price from a dealership so dishonest. I suspect that most of any favorable ratings they have gotten are either bogus or from buyers who do not know when they are being ripped off. More
