The communication was extremely personable from the start. We never felt pressured, but instead, a sense that our needs would be met once we came to a decision. Our salesman, Vance Walden, was very professional, informative, and patient. At each visit to the dealership, Chris Hales, the sales manager, always made a point to personally greet us, face-to-face, and sincerely ask if there was anything he could do to help us purchase the car we wanted, although we initially believed it was out of our reach. And finally, the general manager, Brian Murphy, made it financially possible for us to purchase our original choice from the start: the Subaru Outback Touring model. We are thrilled with our new vehicle and couldn't miss the chance to let others know of our amazing car-buying experience and the "above and beyond" attitude of the team at Subaru Santa Monica. More

It was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. There were no games or gimmicks. Everything was straightforward and to the point. Vance was extremely professional all throughout our visit. My girlfriend and I felt no pressure or anxiety unlike the vast majority of our experiences with automotive dealerships. Even the hot seat with finance was surprisingly straightforward and minimal up-selling of products was done. It was the fastest visit to a dealership that end with me driving away in a purchased vehicle. This was the first dealership that I visited shopping for this car, and the fair pricing and honest sales approach immediately won me over. I did not leave and try to cross-shop with other dealerships, and that has never happened before. Overall, it was probably the best car dealership experience I've had, and to provide some credibility to this review, this is the 7th car that I have purchased. More
