I was trying to decide among: Outback, Forrester, Crosstrek, weighing my needs and my family's needs. The agent let me come back, on my schedule, lunch hours, to test drive the cars multiple times. She never imposed her will but let me take my time and was always informative and well-informed. Sales agent and manager were both excellent. Once decided, they found the one I wanted, color, interior. Because of work demands, it still took me days to get to the bank, get back to the dealership, to pick up my car. They were all calm, patient, happy. That's how I felt too. Can't wait to get to know and love my Forrester. More
Integrity, pride in workmanship and customer appreciation I brought in my 2013 Subaru Legacy for its 60K servicing. Rob Mochizuki was the service writer and he explained what would be done and quoted me a price. After the service was complete, the mechanic and Rob detected two issues not present when the car arrived. They fixed both issues, at no charge, explaining that they could not let the car leave with more problems than it arrived, and for the reason of my customer loyalty. The price quoted was the price I paid. I find this exceptional and unlike other previous experiences with other dealerships. Thanks to Rob Mochizuki and the Subaru of Santa Monica Service Director! Car buying the way it should be I just purchased a Legacy from Subaru Santa Monica and had the best car buying experience I've ever had. I had researched what I wanted and how much I just purchased a Legacy from Subaru Santa Monica and had the best car buying experience I've ever had. I had researched what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend through Consumer Reports. So I was armed.... But, I needn't have worried. Vance Walden, the sales representative was expert, personable and totally confident in the quality of his product. There was no pressure to buy. He and his manager worked hard to find exactly the car I wanted, and succeeded admirably. His explanations of the myriad functions of the car were thorough and easy to understand. The purchasing experience itself was made very simple by the new 'one price' policy instituted by the new dealership owners, The LA Car Guy. The final price compared favorably to what Consumer Reports estimated would be an excellent price. And, finally, the finance manager, Arjahn Mamaghan, made the paperwork quick and easy. All in all, I left feeling that this is the way car buying should be. More

Frank was very professional and kind in the way he treated my family when I came over. He got me a reasonable deal and left me a very, very satisfied customer. I cannot overstate the fact that every car salesale man should be like Frank -- I really appreciated the way he worked with me and when I want to purchase or lease my next car it will certainly be through Frank. Vance explained everything to me about the car, about the financing, and was overall a very compassionate and nice guy. Also he has a good sense of humor. It was nice to see him laughing with my 75 year old grandfather. I got the impression that he was a very good man. Arjan was the guy that I did all the paperwork with. I was being really annoying and neurotic about signing a bunch of papers but he was calm and patient enough to clearly explain things to me (several times over infact). He made the experience of signing papers and reviewing contracts as pleasant, quick, and simple as I could imagine. Even though this isnt the closest dealership to my house, I will certainly be returning here to service my car and get my next car (if it is indeed a subaru). I could not imagine a better experience buying a car -- I highly recommend working with this dealership. More

The best salesperson is Chenchen Yu I really liked my salesperson, Chenchen Yu. She was intelligent and capable. She went out of her way to even come to my home after and help me set up I really liked my salesperson, Chenchen Yu. She was intelligent and capable. She went out of her way to even come to my home after and help me set up something with the car. I did not appreciate the hard sell to sell for extra insurance for dent sand lost keys etc. I did not want it and vehement said so, but the salesperson wouldn't give up and eventually I bought into it. But I have since cancelled this. This left a bad taste in my mouth as I did not want the insurance. This hard sell is not worthy of Suburu. This is my 3rd Suburu from the same dealership. More
