BEWARE OF SUBARU SOUTH TAMPA! I recently purchased (November 2020) a 2013 Subaru BRZ with 61K miles on it. The previous owner had it serviced regularly every 5K miles at mastro Subaru now Subaru Sou (November 2020) a 2013 Subaru BRZ with 61K miles on it. The previous owner had it serviced regularly every 5K miles at mastro Subaru now Subaru South Tampa, since purchased and provided me with the service records. In October 2020 the valve springs had to be replaced due to a recall he recall. Subaru South Tampa replaced the valve springs and had to pull the engine. However, when they replace the engine they failed to install dowel pins between the engine and transmission which allowed the engine not to align up correctly with the transmission. This damaged the piston rod bearings in the engine and flex disc in about 200 miles following this service which required a short block and new flex disc. I took the vehicle to Reeves Subaru when I heard knocking in the engine caused by piston rod bearing and cracked flex disc. Reeves Subaru contacted Subaru South Tampa regarding the proper reassembly of the engine and transmission and the lack of the dowels being. They pretty much told Reeves Subaru to F__K off and would not take responsibility for their lack of properly trained technician. Reeves has repaired the car and I am filling a lawsuit against them because the cost of the repair was $6700 which included a short block and a flex disc. BEWARE OF SUBARU SOUTH TAMPA. The service department doesn't stand behind their work! I will NEVER Purchase anything from this Dealership! I will also make sure all of my friends know about their Crappy Dealership! More

Not a pleasant experience today when I politely asked this dealer what was the price they paid for a vehicle I was interested in.
