Parts have been hard to come by and Stohlman was working on a limited number of cars as the replacement parts came in. The service rep was able to schedule me for the airbag replacement on the same day as my oil change/safety inspection. I called in on a Thursday and I received and appointment for the following Wednesday. The dealership offered me a loaner for the day and the gas was on them. I have been with Stohlman of Herndon (now Sterling) for years now and have always received exemplary service from them. I highly recommend them! More

Quickly Stohlman management addressed the medical issue and substituted in Fernando. Fernando was very calm and reassuring; took me on a test drive; and addressed my questions professionally and respectfully. He balanced his concerns about his co-worker with my needs as a buyer. There was no pressure to make the deal that day, so we completed the trans actions 2 days later. Wow, I love the 2017 Subaru Forester. Thanks Fernando!!! Mike, Sam and Aka were grand as we dealt with ensuring my husband had a test drive and we finalized the transaction. Thanks to a wonderful team. By the way, your receptionist is terrific, too!!! More

My wife and I stopped by Stohlman and were approached fairly quickly by a pretty laid back young man who was willing to help us out with our questions. While my wife thought he was actually a bit too disinterested I liked the lack of 'push' and my wife ended up liking him as well. We ended up chatting for about 45 minutes, got all our questions answered, and even ordered a new 2017 Subaru. So what was the problem? Well 1) we never actually got anything other than the MSRP on the car - as we did not put any money down, and the salesman said that information was not yet 'available' for the 2017s, I wasn't too concerned. When I emailed (and later visited) other Subaru dealers they all gave me firm prices, however - and they had no idea why Stolhman had not provided one. 2) I emailed the salesman a few days later and never got a reply. Following up with a call a couple days later I got a "Huh! I'm pretty sure I replied - the email must not have gone through'. 3) A week later I called and left a voice message. Again no callback..*I* followed up the next day and got 'Huh! Oh yeah I remember I called and it went to voice mail'. No voice mail was received, no call even logged. We bought from another dealer the next weekend. More

Two trips to the dealership: One, 10- minute trip where he let me take the new car to work for couple hours, and then the second trip to pick up the car with all paperwork and processing done within an hour. (problematic because I usually have it 10 minutes fast, but I appreciate the attention to detail :) ). Their parts guys are also always friendly and helpful. n.b. for the CPO question - I looked at them, but they were outside my price range for used, and I do a lot of my own work so the warranty is less cost-effective for me. The folks at Stohlman Subaru are very knowledgeable of their product from the sales staff to the Service Staff. We recently brought our 2016 Outback in for the 6,000 service. Tom, the Service Manage, is what I call Super First Class when it comes to knowing your customer and being of assistance to accommodate their respective needs. We had to adjust our service due to a family emergency and Tom assisted us to make it happen to our needs. When we brought in our Outback for its 3,000 complementary service, Tom was just as accommodating. Since we purchased our Outback last November, we have recommended Stohlman to some of our friends who were in the market for a new car, primarily due to the super service by Tom and his staff. More
