I searched forums, google reviews, yelp reviews, etc and finally decided to check out the little place in Herndon. Man, that was the best choice I could have made! Both visits have been fantastic, the most recent being at the new Sterling location. Excellent facilities, clean and well stocked. I helped myself to some hot chocolate since it was a cold, rainy day. I was quoted an hour and a half for a 12K service and tire installation/alignment. It ended up taking about three hours but Jay was extremely communicative and I wasn't left wondering why it was taking so long. He also tried to help another customer with a decision regarding her emissions test, laying out a few different options and offering to see what the wait time at their old station was since it would be about two hours until they could get to her vehicle. That was really nice to see, he was very patient and did his best to help her make the best decision for her. It's very clear that the people who work here(at least from what I've seen in the service dept) enjoy what they do and that makes it a much more enjoyable experience to come in for services. More

Vic Ejaz was our salesman and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything to us in detail. At no point in the process did we feel intimidated or pressured. As we talked about the car we heard other sales people on the phone and they seemed to be going out of their way to satisfy the callers. It’s worth mentioning that another reason for coming back to this dealership was the exceptional experience in the service department by Tom Wimmer and his crew, including the parts department. I absolutely recommend if you are seeking to purchase a new Subaru or maybe a previously owned car that you seek out one of the best salespeople I have ever encountered, and ask for Vic Ejaz. What you can expect when purchasing a car at this dealership and working with Vic is to be treated with respect. Yep, they are there to sell cars, but you will not be pressured to buy. Vic takes great pride in his product knowledge and he will spend time learning about your needs and requirements, and make recommendations you may not have considered to save you time and money. His passion is serving his customer! All of the managers on the sales side, Tom & Aka, and also the finance manager are focused on making the experience of buying a car a good one. They all work together well as a team and are very focused on delivering an exceptional experience. I will say that their style is so relaxed and non-pressure that it would be possible to incorrectly make an assumption that they don’t want your business, but that is not the case at all, they really strive to be different. While many dealerships say they want the customer experience to be a good one, this is often a claim that they do not deliver on. Stohlman Subaru in Herndon VA on the other hand really is exceptional and this is why I purchased another car from them this year and never thought about looking elsewhere. They are moving into the brand new modern dealership in Dulles in a few weeks and I absolutely endorse and recommend this dealership.
