After test driving Subaru's at several other dealerships and not receiving the price we wanted for the car, I emailed Stohlmans at Herndan to see if they had what we wanted, in our price range. Mark emailed back that he would look and the next day he emailed that the car we wanted was being delivered in two weeks and quoted us a price. My wife and I just bought our first Subaru yesterday and we bought it at Stohlman of Herndon. We haven't bought a car in 10 years but we've test driven enough cars over that time at various dealerships to know that most are just places you don't want to spend 5-6 hours haggling over the second most expensive purchase you make and playing the typical dealership games. The staff at Stohlman of Herndon is very laid back, low pressure and the buying process is completely transparent- at no point were we ever guessing how much this car was going to cost. We were there for three hours and didn't even realize it, it was just very relaxing and, to be honest, refreshing. Our sales guy, Raj Kapur, was extremely knowledgable and was great to deal with. His manager, Gus Andrande, was very friendly and got us the price we wanted for our trade. The finance guy, Dave Kim, made the actual paperwork completely painless and didn't try to sell us a bunch of BS add-ons at the last minute. And everyone there we spoke with was very friendly and quick to offer their help. The entire staff just came across as really genuine. Oh, and of course, they gave us a great deal on our new Outback- even though they had to trade another dealership in MD for it. I would have no reservations about recommending anyone to check them out for their next car purchase. More

I was interested in the 0% financing that I saw in the adds and I wanted to finance for 48 months. Mark made sure that I knew the 0% was for 36 month financing. The other local dealerships never clarified this for me even though they knew I wanted 48 month financing . Because Mark was being honest I decided to just work with him to get my new Subaru. I went in to the dealership and met with Mark and told him exactly what I wanted on my new vehicle. The search was on for my new car. Gus actually found my new vehicle and called me to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I was told the delivery date and the car arrived that day. The actual purchasing of the car was painless and the price was exactly what I had been told. Sharon did the paperwork quickly and she was very easy to work with. I also traded in my old car and I got a very good price for the trade in. The "above and beyond" customer service I was given by Mark and Gus makes me a Stohlman Subaru of Herndon loyal customer.
