I had booked an appointment over a week in advance for a oil change and tire rotation. Cassandra was my service rep. I was quoted service in the $140 range. I waited in the waiting area. Eventually, a video came through identifying required engine & cabin filter replacement, wheel realignment, and a rusted clip that had broken off the under carriage heat shield. I have a 10 year/100,000 Gold Plus policy which they said doesn't cover even the rusted clip! The finance guy I asked regarding the my Gold Plus Plan was condescending and dismissive. Cassandra was patronizing. They began to slow walk my repairs ("I'm sorry but the technicians are all at lunch!") so that eventually I was 4 hours and 15 minutes in the waiting room. Cassandra would continue to jack up the price of repairs by saying that she "forgot" to add this or that cost (including labor!!!) to the price until I needed to pay ~ $550 to get my car out of there! In the five years I have owned my Subaru, I have only had one positive experience with Carbone and this certainly wasn't it. The car itself runs fine and I appreciate the technicians' professionalism but the customer facing service is brutal. Do better! More
