Purchase of used pickup truck. Salesman Jack Yanisch was great to work with, and Steve (financial transaction desk) was good also. Also, I called ahead and Jack answered some initial questions over the phone with definite, informative answers about this specific vehicle, some of which he discussed after going out to the lot to check the truck. And I knew before I got there how I wanted to do the deal. While I was at the dealership, Jack answered my questions promptly and accurately, got answers efficiently for things that he didn’t know immediately, and did a good job overall. Although Jack definitely came across as a salesman (which is what he does), he was also personable, friendly, and helpful, and not pushy, and I didn’t mind talking to him or listening to him at any point. Both Jack & Steve helped us get through the process smoothly and quickly, which is what I was hoping. Ideally I wanted to pay a little lower price, but I wanted this specific vehicle, so I went a little higher than I thought I should, given an almost-the-same comparable (but not my desired color) at another dealer (which was same year, same body, had same trim package and same features, but fewer miles, but still was a little lower price). Sales Manager Darrin met me half way, so I took the deal anyway. Also, apparently it’s dealer policy that the salesman goes on the test drive with the customer, but I would strongly prefer doing it without the salesman. But overall, the buying experience was good. I’m happy with the purchase, and pleased with how this dealer handled the transaction. More
