Diesel Emmission Fluid Quality Poor DIC Message I brought my 2014 Chevy Cruze into Service for an oil change and “DEF POOR QUALITY MESSAGE” and the tech tested the DEF and it passed. Two weeks late I brought my 2014 Chevy Cruze into Service for an oil change and “DEF POOR QUALITY MESSAGE” and the tech tested the DEF and it passed. Two weeks later I bring car into service for the same thing and after two weeks in the shop, the assistant service manager tell me the DEF is bad, same fluid, only two weeks older. I asked how he tested the DEF for being bad, he said the smell test, I can smell if it is bad. Two week early the tech tested it with some sort of equipment and it was good. Needless to say, they charged me nearly $300 to sniff my DEF. i am totally disappointed in the type of service I was given. I have been a satisfied customer for over 5 years till now. I feel scammed. More
