Buyer Beware - Was in contact with manager Mike, Jessica and Joshua about an Ford Escape. I was offered $4000+ for a 2016 Chevy Trex that I only had 2 months. Carvana offered 6900. I told Mike, and Jessi and Joshua about an Ford Escape. I was offered $4000+ for a 2016 Chevy Trex that I only had 2 months. Carvana offered 6900. I told Mike, and Jessica (multiple times), and Joshua that I wanted that car and I would put a downpayment down to insure the sale. At 430 today Joshua wrote and said pending. I would have put a deposit down to hold it, but NOONE said anything. I assumed it was being arranged for me to buy. NOPE I would not recommend them. More
BUYER BEWARE — Extremely Disappointing Experience with Suburban Ford of Ferndale I leased a brand-new 2026 Ford F-150 Lariat from Suburban Ford of Ferndale just 30 days ago. The truck had only 32 miles on it when I drove it off the lot. First, I want to make one thing very clear: my salesperson Joshua Anderson was amazing. Joshua went above and beyond throughout the sales and leasing process, were extremely helpful, and provided a great experience. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my salesperson. Unfortunately, my experience with the Service Department has been a completely different story. Fast-forward one month, and the transmission has completely failed and now requires replacement. I understand that mechanical problems can happen, even with a brand-new vehicle. What I did not expect was the way the Service Department would handle the situation once there was a problem. The biggest disappointment has been the lack of communication and customer service. I have repeatedly had to contact the dealership just to get basic information about my own vehicle. When I do receive a response, it is often brief, vague, or doesn't actually answer the questions I asked. For someone who leased a brand-new vehicle only 30 days ago, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect regular and proactive updates. Instead, I've been left chasing the dealership for information. I was told my truck could be in the shop for another two to three weeks. That's an extremely long amount of downtime for a vehicle that was essentially brand-new when I leased it. To be fair, the dealership did provide a loaner, and I appreciate that. However, the loaner is considerably smaller than my F-150 and much less practical for my needs. Given that my brand-new truck is undergoing a major transmission replacement after only 30 days, I expected more consideration for the inconvenience this situation has caused. And what really sums up my experience is this: I was promised a follow-up — and it never happened. No update. No call. No meaningful communication. I shouldn't have to repeatedly contact the dealership to find out what is happening with a vehicle that I am making lease payments on. This isn't simply about a transmission failure. Mechanical problems happen. It's about how a dealership treats its customer when something goes wrong. A brand-new $85,000+ vehicle experiencing a major transmission failure after only 30 days is frustrating enough. Having to repeatedly chase the Service Department for answers, receiving inadequate responses, and then not receiving a promised follow-up makes the experience significantly worse. I chose to lease a brand-new Ford because I expected a reliable vehicle backed by a dealership that would stand behind its customers. Unfortunately, while my sales experience was excellent, the experience with the Service Department has not met that same standard. Management needs to take a serious look at the communication and customer-service practices in this Service Department. Customers shouldn't have to beg for updates, repeatedly make phone calls, or wonder whether anyone is actually keeping track of their vehicle. I sincerely hope no other customer has to experience this during the first 30 days of a brand-new vehicle lease. My salesperson earned my appreciation by going above and beyond. Unfortunately, based on my experience with the vehicle and, especially, the Service Department's customer service, I cannot recommend Suburban Ford More

Best dealership that I have ever encountered. I worked directly with my great salesman Chris and the sales manager Antonio. I bought a beautiful used car that many dealerships would sell as is. I I worked directly with my great salesman Chris and the sales manager Antonio. I bought a beautiful used car that many dealerships would sell as is. I asked if they would fix a few things like adding new tires (the ones on the used car needed replacement) and a slight vibration issue. I thought they may tell me to go pound sand. However Antonio did not blink and said done. They went over and above my expectations. I now recommend all of my friends and co-workers to this dealership. I work at Ford Motor company and I told Antonio that he and his team are spectacular to work with. He simply responded we care more about customers than selling cars. We build relationships. So true and I plan on letting Dealer Relations inside of Ford know that more dealerships should be like Ford Suburban Ferndale. What a great experience and I love my 20MY Lincoln MKZ More
