I have purchased two new vehicles from Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights and have consistently had my vehicles service here. My service experience has been very poor as a whole at this location. During my most recent visit today I scheduled an Oil Change and Tire Rotation on my F-150 for 2PM. Jason wrote my vehicle up when I arrived. I asked Jason if they could look at my left rear tire for a slow leak while I was at there. Jason said yes. Jason asked if I would be waiting at the dealership and I told him yes. I then waited 2 hours and 8 minutes until I received a text from Jason that said the repair was taking a bit longer than it should but the vehicle should be done soon. After waiting for 2 hours and 45 minutes I finally received a text from Jason that my vehicle was finished. When I arrived at the counter Jason did not apologize for the delay or take ownership for the poor service. Instead of taking ownership for the poor service and apologizing Jason repeatedly used the phrase “things happen”. He informed me they have a tire machine broken and they are understaffed. Jason is the Service Manager. I watched waves of customers come in to have their vehicle service after me and leave before me. The lack of communication from the Service Manager throughout the repair along with the inability for the Service Manager to take accountability have made me decide to take my business elsewhere. Jason did decide to not charge me for the tire repair and considered that a resolution to the problem. The most valuable thing to me is my time, not being give a free flat repair. No accountability from the Service Manager combined with a lack of communication from the Service Manager throughout a very delayed repair makes this Service Department a poor location to choose. More

BROOKLYN was very helpful during the sale went above and beyond. Until I got the truck home the check Engine light came on and the windshield wipers did not work at all. I let BROOKLYN know. She told me that she talked to her service manager and they agreed to fix the truck. As long as I brought it back to Suburban Ford keep in mind I live two hours away so I went to a local Ford dealer and they said the windshield motor and linkage was burned up and the reason the check engine light was on is the right side catalytic converter is shot. They wanted $2800 to fix it. They said that should’ve been taken care of immediately by Suburban Ford since I only drove the truck home and had issues. so I contacted BROOKLYN to have her make an appointment to get my truck fixed at Suburban Ford at that point she told me that truck was bought as is pretty much just deal with it. After she told me they would fix it the Ford dealership I took it to said that truck could not have been inspected by Suburban Ford, or they would’ve seen that the windshield wipers did not even come on. Very disappointing. I bought the truck on march 28 and I just got it up and running on April 12 I ended up getting it repaired at AAA service garage because they were a little bit cheaper. I still had $2200 out of pocket put into a truck that I only put 150 miles on and that was driving it home from your dealership. The truck is nice the truck is clean but I was lied to by BROOKLYN TATE. If I could give negative stars as an option I would. I purchased a 2020 F150 and a week and a half later I am putting $2300 into it for rear callipers, rotors and pads that they supposedly already repla I purchased a 2020 F150 and a week and a half later I am putting $2300 into it for rear callipers, rotors and pads that they supposedly already replaced. I offered to show pics of the old ones - he didn't want to see those of course. Also needed the transmission serviced - the fluid is awful, the seal was silicone, not the normal gasket breaking apart into the transmission. Probably will need a new transmission in the near future. He could care less - offered to take the vehicle back "if I could get it back to the condition it was in when I drove it off the lot". I should put the crappy, rusted brakes back on and some additive in the transmission to slow down the shudder. He said they don't check the transmissions in the safety inspections as long as they "aren't leaking and shifting". The right rear shock has a huge dent in it, the frame rail is caked with mud and dirt. Do yourself a favor and don't take their "safety inspections" at face value. Take your vehicle to an independent auto shop and have it inspected if you go against your gut (and my advice) and get a vehicle from here. More
