Service Department is Not For ME Today I had a bad experience at Suburban Ford. I took my car there because the service engine light came on. They told me that they would have to co Today I had a bad experience at Suburban Ford. I took my car there because the service engine light came on. They told me that they would have to connect computer and do a diagnostic. I was not told there would be a charge for this. After several days of having the car ( this is after I made an appointment to bring the car in) they finally called to tell me the repair would cost over $800. The service person did not like my request for them NOT to do the work. When I went in to get my car he was rude and very smug. He then told me that I would have to pay $105 for them to have hooked up their computer to the car. He tricked me into signing his tablet when I dropped off the car, the paper copy did say there was a charge (IN VERY TINY PRINT, SO SMALL YOU CAN BARELY SEE) PRETTY SNEAKY I THINK AND NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL p.s.: I FOUND A SHOP THAT WILL DO THE SAME REPAIR FOR HALF THE PRICE!!!! More

I found a new one that they had posted a couple weeks later and inquired on that one requesting a different salesman. We got Mario and he did a great job. The car we were looking at was always ready to go and warm and he had all the paperwork and documentation ready when we were ready to purchase the vehicle. He even had a couple things fixed that we found that needed fixing before we took it home. We enjoyed Mario but Brian his boss is what will make us come back. More
Disrepstful/Rude/Unhappy Hello, For the past few months I have been searching for reliable transportation for family and I. While in the midst of searching I ran across an ad on car guru that Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights had a vehicle for sale. I called and it was still available so I went and looked at the vehicle. I was introduced to Jeremy Sloat who showed me this vehicle and further asked if I would like to test drive it. After a few more questions and some of my information I was able to test drive it. Everything seemed great, as we are in the winter months I turned on the heat to make sure it was in proper working order and nothing was wrong. I turned it on and it was just blowing air. The blower kicked on but I was receiving no heat. So I made sure the setting were all set for heat(which it was) but still no heat. Upon my return to the dealership Jeremy Sloat asked if I would like to purchase the vehicle. I proceeded with NO as the vehicle was not in 100% working order as they had advertised on their listing. Jeremy proceeded to tell me that they sell their used vehicles AS IS. The only thing covered would be the Engine, Frame, Suspension, Etc. With said conditions (because my wife and 2 kids will be driving this vehicle mostly) I did not want to purchase it without heat. Jeremy than said, "let me speak to my manager and see if we can work something out" . I waited patiently and he told me good news, my manager would not like to sell the vehicle without the heat working properly, only problem is I would have to leave a deposit for the vehicle while they were fixing the issue. I declined to leave a deposit due to the fact it was not fully functional. I told Jeremy Sloat to call me when the issue was resolved. Jeremy called me the next day and proceeded to tell my that I just had the setting wrong and had it set to COLD and not HEAT. I'm not the smartest man on Earth but you don't have to insult my intelligence and tell me I had the setting incorrect. I told Jeremy I would come look at it on my next day off or when I had to time as I do have a family. After 6 days As I was looking for their ad again to make sure it was sure it was still there I noticed they had boosted the price on the vehicle. Now why would they boost tyhe price of the vehicle?? I gave the Suburban Ford Of Sterling Heights another chance to look at the vehicle even after they boosted the price. I called and arranged another meet with Jeremy to look at the vehicle. I drove another 25 miles okn way there to see it again, in the snow, because I already told him i was coming. I get to the DEALERSHIP and they page him to his desk. I waited patiently for 5 mins, than another 5, than another 5. 15 minutes later he comes walking to his desk, sees me sitting there and COMPLETELY ignored me. Did not look my way and say hello, be right with you, or I'm finishing a transaction, Etc. I let it go and said, " maybe he doesn't want to forget what he's writing." Jeremy Sloat walks back to his desk and DOES THE SAME THING AGAIN! Now I feel DISRESPECTED, ignored, and acting like I don't even exist. Not once made eye contact or anything. He proceeded to grab some paper work and walked away. During this entire time no one asked me if he ever showed up OR if i was being helped. Jeremy comes back for a 3rd time and the Same THING happened again. After that I picked myself up and walked right out of the dealership. Maybe because I wasn't looking at a 24,000 dollar that it wasn't worth his time or commission. MAYBE THATS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL GET ANY HELP OR SERVICE THERE is if you want to buy a high ticket item. I went out of my way again even after he insulted my intelligence and boosted the price to see the vehicle and give Suburban Ford another chance. I was very unhappy with their respect and attitude towards people. Very DISRESPECTFUL and rude. I will NOT be returning and DEFINITELY NOT recommending them to anyone! More

World Class Customer Service Ardrianna was the best salesperson I've ever dealt with on any level. She was HONEST and knowledgeable about the vehicles she was trying to sell. and Ardrianna was the best salesperson I've ever dealt with on any level. She was HONEST and knowledgeable about the vehicles she was trying to sell. and if she didn't know a particular spec on that vehicle she went and found out the answer. Since this dealership is #1 in Michigan there's a lot of traffic in there but she was very quick and efficient, she always made me feel like I was her number #1 priority while juggling a few other customers. She was funny and friendly and made feel comfortable. I bought a wonderful car from a wonderful person working at wonderful place. Buyer Beware Just beware that whatever car you may be looking to purchase from them is actually up to 2000 more than posted ... if you are looking at a vehicle pri Just beware that whatever car you may be looking to purchase from them is actually up to 2000 more than posted ... if you are looking at a vehicle priced at 10000 expect to finance around 12000 ... that's how they get you ... they automatically try to get you to pay for GAP coverage on your used car purchase which would cost you $1000 extra or more based on the price of the vehicle you are looking for. Also the worst is that they apply a paint protection and interior protection to all their vehicles before they place them on the lot ... and well that's all well and good ... what they don't mention is that you have to pay for it !!! AND they don't include it on the sticker price ... so just beware of all the things you are signing for on your finance contract ... you can decline the GAP coverage if you wish (and of course you have to come out and tell them that .. they don't tell you in advance that you can opt out if you wish) ... and unfortunately they cant cancel the paint and interior protection because it's already been done to the vehicle ... nice !! More
