Typical old school dealership BS tactics. I called up to buy an van for the advertised price of $38k. Then Joey tells me that includes a Ford employee discount and asks if I'm a Ford employee. Are you jok buy an van for the advertised price of $38k. Then Joey tells me that includes a Ford employee discount and asks if I'm a Ford employee. Are you joking??? Then he goes on to tell me that he advertises for Michigan, not Las Vegas (where I'm from). They are "Motor City" as if that justifies this BS tactic. Except I found the car on True Car with no mention of a Ford Employee Discount. The last van I bought was from a dealer in Kentucky, with no problems. He said, "that's Kentucky, this is Michigan" (I guess where they have BS sales tactics and it's OK, ya know, cuz it's Michigan. Waste of time. And thanks Joey for calling me at 6:30 this morning and waking me up. More
