Joey - Needs to Be Respectful & How to Work with Customers My wife and I were interested in a Pre-owned MDX. Joey was the sales consultant we ended up working with. He was energetic, but rude and disrespecful My wife and I were interested in a Pre-owned MDX. Joey was the sales consultant we ended up working with. He was energetic, but rude and disrespecful. We felt he had to have a rebuttal for everything we said. He did not listen to what we had to say or what we want to purchase. He was not willing to negotiate from the vehicle list price or interested in knowing what we were willing to pay. A sales consultant like Joey is the #1 reason why customers hate walking into a dealership. The experience was very negative. I recommend working with another sales consultant if you have to shop at Suburban Honda. More

Excercise caution One year ago I purchased my new car from this dealer, I had given this dealership 5 star rating back then. Recently, I brought in a friend to purchase his new car from Suburban and experience the good service that I had received earlier. How the times have changed, we went in looking for Raj the person I worked with earlier, we learnt that he was on vacation. Instead we got a sales manger named Hans. It was very unpleasant dealing with Hans, he yelled at us and lectured us on the right way to buy a car ...really??? Feeling humiliated, we decided to walk out. and shop at another dealership. We were still in the market and decided to give Suburban another chance (since it is close to where we live) on the condition that we deal with Raj, the sales manager who I bought from a year ago. Raj invited us back to the dealership a gave us a good deal, this time it was a much better experience, thanks to Raj. We ended up buying the new car from Suburban. I have colleagues and friends who come in for work and need to buy a car, if Raj had not invited us back with a great deal, I would still have a bad taste in my mouth and Suburban would have lost my referrals. More

My next stop was Suburban Honda and I had a PERFECT experience from Karl kindly greeting me at the door to my salesman Joey. They could get the car I wanted - it was in state- the price was good and the deal was done quickly, kindly and professionally. I will recommend Joey to others I know and would definitely buy from them again! More

Does not honor agreed upon price Spoke with Joey on the phone 11/12/16 regarding a 10' Acura MDX they had listed which was previously listed by their Mercedes dealership for $14,000. Spoke with Joey on the phone 11/12/16 regarding a 10' Acura MDX they had listed which was previously listed by their Mercedes dealership for $14,000. I had emailed regarding the vehicle when it was listed at that time but did not get a reply. Now it was listed for $15,600 a few days later, with identical photos but from their Suburban Honda Dealership. When I spoke to Joey I explained this and he eventually admitted to the price change and agreed to honor it. I submitted an inquiry regarding trade in value out of curiousity and now I am told the price is no longer valid.... Don't appreciate the lack of professionalism or tone in the emails/phone calls. I wanted to pass along this experience so people know what can be expected at this dealership. I will move on to other options. More
