Beware of the Suburban Infiniti of Novi Service Department. I believe that they committed fraud against me by not disclosing an accident while my vehicle was in their possession, and I believe tha Department. Chris Adams, service consultant, took my brand new 2012 FX35 for a test drive after I complained about the transmission problems I am having (a whole other story!), and he decided to run a personal errand in my vehicle. He was sideswiped in the Buschs's supermarket parking lot by a woman, and then went with the woman to the police station to file a police report. (I don't know if he was visiting the supermarket or the bar/restaurant that shares the same parking lot). Chris Adams never called me to tell me that this occurred, and he did not tell me about the accident when he called to tell me that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. When I was in the Service Department again two weeks later with continued transmission problems, his boss Andy Lietz also failed to make me aware of the accident that Chris Adams was in with my vehicle (I have come to know that Andy was fully aware of the accident and the steps the dealership took afterwards). I have no idea what damage was done, and what unauthorized repairs were made by the Suburban Infiniti of Novi Service Department while my vehicle was in their possession. I found out about the accident after the woman's insurance company contacted me to have repairs made. I obtained a copy of the police report clearly identifying Chris Adams as the driver that got sideswiped. The Suburban Collection has been unwilling to assist in the situation. I figure that Suburban Infiniti of Novi is the only one that knows the extent of the damage done to my vehicle, and they should buy it back from me. The Suburban Collection refuses to help. I have yet to find someone responsible for this dealership, the Suburban Collection has given me the run-around and will not put me in touch with someone in charge of the dealership. The best they have done is to offer an opportunity for me to trade-in my brand new vehicle for a $13,000 loss (Chris Snyder, Retail Operations Manager for Import brands of the Suburban Collection). After the service I received from both Suburban Infiniti of Novi and the Suburban Collection, I would not recommend this dealer or any other within the Suburban Collection. They have already lost several sales because of my warnings to others, including my wife's purchase of a new vehicle this past weekend from another dealership group. Stay away from Suburban Infiniti of Novi! More
